CEO 2025 hosts world-level tournaments and gathers top players. Event guide

Since the last major gaming tournament, I’ve noticed some new moves and strategies in the fighting game scene. If I aim to compete in the World Tour Finals and the Esports World Cup, I’ll need to be swift in adapting to these changes and master them if I want to stand a chance.

2025’s CEO tournament boasts a variety of more than 20 games as its main attraction, with a spotlight on those that carry significant qualifiers. As always, top-tier players from around the globe gather in Orlando, Florida, aiming to accumulate rankings and secure direct invites to the international finals. This annual event serves as a boon for the entire Fighting Games Community (FGC), as it fosters high-stakes competition that consistently produces thrilling matches.

Here’s all you need for CEO 2025 (also known as CEO XV): schedules, streaming links, key points, and outcomes of major matches.

How to watch CEO 2025 FGC tournaments: Streams

As per the official timetable, 11 Twitch streams will air fighting game esports competitions from CEO 2025. For complete information, visit our schedule section.

Among the primary platforms, CEO Gaming’s official Twitch channel stands out. It broadcasts games such as FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, Guilty Gear Strive, Mortal Kombat 1, and a variety of additional titles.

Schedule of CEO 2025

The event goes on for three days from June 13 to June 15.

The image below displays the comprehensive schedule for CEO XV. The tournament begins at Eastern Time (North America East) as indicated. If you’re on the Western Coast, the tournament starts three hours earlier. For those in Europe (Central European Summer Time), you should add six hours to the ET start time.

On Sunday, June 15, we have the final matches for the main tournament, but there will be some finals played a day earlier on Saturday, June 14 as well.

High stakes and big adjustments. CEO 2025 overview and results

The recent major esports tournament for fighting games, Combo Breaker 2025, took place just three weeks back. However, the landscape of several gaming titles has already undergone significant changes since then.

2025 will be an exciting year for CEOs, but only for those competing at the top level who aim to qualify for either the World Tour Finals or the Esports World Cup 2025. The pressure and competition at these events are intense as they represent the pinnacle of achievement in a few titles, making the stakes incredibly high.

High stakes and big adjustments — it’s a great premise for a wonderful esports show!

Brawlhalla Mid-Season Championship 2025 hits CEO XV

This particular platformer fighting game typically doesn’t feature official tournaments at standard Fighting Game Community (FGC) events, but CEO stands out as a notable exception. In 2024, we got to witness the Brawlhalla Mid-Season Championship at CEO, and this year, we find the same high level of competition at CEO 2025.

since then, the transformations in Brawlhalla have been quite significant. A novel weapon, the Chakram, has been introduced, and several new characters, or Legends, have joined the ranks, bolstering the roster.

It’s been officially suggested that a fresh Chakram character will likely debut during the Brawlhalla CEO 2025 tournament. Keep your gaze peeled for any updates!

  • The Brawlhalla 2v2 winners at CEO 2025 are TBD.
  • The Brawlhalla 1v1 winner at CEO 2025 is TBD.

Arc World Tour 2025: Grinding points, adjusting to Unika and Galleon

At CEO XV, two games – Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising – are part of the Arc World Tour 2025 official lineup. These games held Gold+ level qualifiers, which means the top-performing players will receive a significant number of points, but there’s no direct entry into the Finals for them.

At the heels of Combo Breaker 2025, Unika made her debut in Guilty Gear Strive. Given the short span since then, it’s unexpected that she’d find herself on such a grand platform, but unexpected events often unfold. Her opponents may not be adequately prepped for her either.

The same goes for Galleon in GBVS Rising. She was added to the game only two weeks ago.

  • The Guilty Gear Strive winner at CEO 2025 is TBD. They earn 200 standing points.
  • The Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising winner at CEO 2025 is TBD. They also receive 200 points to progress on the AWT 2025 leaderboard.

Mortal Kombat 1 CEO 2025 results: Pro Kompetition qualifier

The most significant shift regarding this game involves the formal announcement that no more Mortal Kombat 1 characters or updates will be introduced.

Enthusiasm remains high among professional gamers as they look forward to competing in the Pro Kompetiton 2025 season. CEO XV offers a great opportunity for them to rack up some points. The Kombatant-tier qualifier, while not the largest, is still part of the event. This means that some of the top international players might be absent. However, this opens up a chance for local competitors to make a big impact!

  • The MK1 winner at CEO 2025 is TBD. They earn 210 Pro Kompetition 2025 points.

With the unveiling of the Invincible fighting game, sporting a fierce artistic aesthetic, it’s likely that many Mortal Kombat enthusiasts will migrate towards this new game; however, that could change if NetherRealm decides to make a significant announcement themselves.

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves at CEO 2025. To the SNK Finals!

The game is still relatively new, so we haven’t seen any significant metamorphoses yet. We’re eagerly anticipating the debut of the first downloadable content character. It’s possible that Andy Bogard might introduce a tweak to the game’s balance when he arrives.

At CEO XV, FATAL FURY CotW hosts a qualifying round for the SNK World Championship 2025. The victor secures their spot in the championship finals.

  • The FATAL FURY winner at CEO 2025 is TBD.

As a dedicated gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the CEO XV FATAL FURY tournament doubles as a qualifier for the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025). For those who perform exceptionally well, the top three contenders will secure their places at the grand event in Saudi Arabia.

TEKKEN 8: Another new patch to balance the game before CEO 2025

The potentially disastrous Season 2 of TEKKEN 8 might be nearing its conclusion, as developers are striving for that outcome. They’ve recently unleashed TEKKEN 8 Patch 2.02, aimed at further refining the game’s balance between offense and defense. The upcoming CEO 2025 tournament promises to showcase these improvements on an expert level.

This competition is a top-tier event within the TEKKEN World Tour 2025, and it’s attracting numerous renowned figures from around the world who are eager to boost their standing on the global rankings by participating in this event taking place in Florida.

  • The TEKKEN 8 winner at CEO 2025 is TBD. They earn 560 TWT 2025 points.

4 top-ranked players secure qualification spots for the TEKKEN 8 Esports World Cup 2025. Achieving lower placements can still feel triumphant, as many formidable opponents are already eligible participants due to their impressive performance at the TEKKEN 8 Combo Breaker 2025 tournament.

Street Fighter 6: Elena dances after big balance adjustments

In the gaming universe of SF6, Elena, the skilled Capoeira dancer, accomplished the collection of Year 2 DLC characters, marking a significant milestone. This update, named after Elena, has left a substantial impact on Street Fighter 6, as it introduced alterations across all characters. One of the most noticeable modifications concerns Ryu, who received performance enhancements (buffs).

2025’s CEO tournament will be the initial major event to implement these updates. As they acclimate to these alterations, leading players aim to secure a spot for themselves in Capcom Cup 12, as victory is required for qualification.

  • The Street Fighter 6 winner at CEO 2025 is TBD.

At CEO XV, three spots for the SF6 Esports World Cup 2025 will be allocated. As of now, these positions have yet to be determined (TBD).

A significant number of prominent participants have already secured their spots for the EWC 2025 through events such as Street Fighter Combo Breaker 2025, and various other competitions.

More details on the big CEO 2025 tournaments will be added to our dedicated articles. Stay tuned!

Following the tenure of CEO XV, the Fighting Game Community (FGC) will take a brief pause from major international multi-titled events. However, mark your calendars for Evo Las Vegas 2025, happening from August 1st to August 3rd.
