Computer Lunch has released a major update for its popular game, Cell to Singularity, called Reality Reboot. Available now on Android, iOS, and PC, this update includes improvements to how you progress in the game, the ability to simulate amphibians, and a promise of new content every month, along with other enhancements.

Cell to Singularity just got a major update with the Reality Reboot expansion! Now you can simulate the entire universe, starting from a single cell and watching life evolve all the way to a futuristic technological singularity. This is all powered by a completely rebuilt core for the main simulation, called the Reality Engine, which drastically changes how the game plays.

I hadn’t played this game before, but this expansion has really piqued my interest. It adds more story options, choices, and ways to improve your strategy. With this update, you can even explore completely new gameplay paths, like simulating amphibian evolution.

You can customize your virtual computer to push evolution to incredible levels – even beyond the complexity of all the atoms in the universe! Plus, with over 200 upgrades, you can boost your progress while playing, or set things up to automatically grow your resources even when you’re not actively playing.

It’s clear the team put a lot of work into this expansion, even rebuilding the core systems with help from Octocube Games, a Danish game studio. This also gives you more control – you can now choose when to restart your simulations and benefit from a completely updated progression system.
