Investigators believe Celeste Rivas’ body was cut apart and then frozen before being found in D4vd’s Tesla, a discovery that has significantly changed the direction of the investigation.
As someone following this heartbreaking case closely, I’ve learned some truly disturbing details. Reports indicate that when they found the 15-year-old victim, she had suffered horrific injuries – she was beheaded, and her arms and legs had been cut off. It’s just… unimaginable, and I can barely bring myself to repeat it, but people deserve to know the brutality of what happened.
According to sources at TMZ, when her body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla, it was reportedly partially frozen and beginning to thaw.
I’m really worried because I heard from sources involved in the investigation that the LA County Medical Examiner might not be able to figure out how this person died. It’s a frustrating situation, and it just adds to the uncertainty surrounding everything.
A Tesla sat outside the house D4vd was renting in the Hollywood Hills for several days before it was finally towed. The resulting smell eventually led authorities to discover the body of Rivas.
David Anthony Burke, who performs as D4vd, is currently a suspect in an investigation, but no charges have been filed against him.
The Daily Mail has contacted the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office for comment.
A second person suspected in the death of Rivas has been named, according to a report from a TMZ podcast.

Sources familiar with the LAPD investigation say detectives now believe someone else was involved in Riva’s death, in addition to the person already identified.
On Wednesday, People magazine reported, based on a police source, that the same individual was also probably involved in getting rid of the body.
Levin said he wasn’t fully told why police now believe 20-year-old D4vd allegedly had help.

According to Geragos, investigators have meticulously pieced together the details, creating an incredibly detailed timeline – almost down to the minute – that’s being used by the LAPD.
Levin thinks police probably have video footage of the accomplice, thanks to the cameras both inside and outside of Teslas.
The LAPD declined to confirm the reporting so far on a second suspect.
On September 8th, the body of Rivas was discovered in the trunk of a car belonging to D4vd, which had been impounded. This happened just one day after Rivas’s fifteenth birthday. D4vd was touring the United States when the discovery was made.
Neighbors told NBC Los Angeles that a car had been left abandoned in the Hollywood Hills for approximately a month.
Once the car was taken to the impound lot, workers noticed a bad smell coming from the front trunk.
When police arrived at the scene and opened the compartment, they found Rivas’s remains in a bag.
Investigators haven’t yet been able to determine how Rivas died due to the condition of her body, which was severely decomposed and dismembered. They’re awaiting the results of toxicology tests for more information.
Rivas has been missing for more than a year when her body was discovered.
She often ran away from home in Lake Elsinore, California, and was last seen leaving in April 2024.
Reports surfaced on Friday claiming D4vd isn’t cooperating with the police investigation and hasn’t been questioned yet.
As of November 22, no one has been arrested or charged.
