Celebs Go Dating: McGuinness, S Club Star, & More Seek Love in Ibiza

Christine McGuinness, famously known as an S Club member and recognized from Love Island, along with other notable figures, are reportedly being considered for this year’s cast on Celebs Go Dating.

This fall, a new television show is set to debut. The program will focus on a cluster of unattached celebrities exploring the intricacies of dating. Guiding them through this journey will be relationship experts Anna Williamson, Paul Brunson, Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, and Tom Read Wilson.

The filming for the well-known TV series will commence in May; expect it to air on your screens towards the end of this year.

2023 promises to continue the series’ tradition of high-drama, as an array of fresh solo talents are back for the 14th season. Notably, Christine has been signed as the main attraction after her separation from Paddy.

The roster features well-known personalities such as reality TV stars and musicians. A significant shift is imminent for the competitors, as they are scheduled to travel to Ibiza.

Here take a look at who is said to be the latest batch of singletons entering the dating world…

Christine McGuinness

Viewers are sure to become emotionally involved as they follow Christine’s personal story, following her separation from her former spouse, Paddy McGuinness.

In 2022, they parted ways following eleven years of matrimony, yet continued residing under one roof for the benefit of their trio of kids.

It seems she’s eager to demonstrate her advancement beyond the presenter by participating in a popular dating program.

As a die-hard admirer of hers, I can’t help but feel a thrill knowing that the captivating TV star, at 37 years young, confessed to having limited dating experiences in the past. This means that her upcoming romantic ventures will undoubtedly be fresh and exciting for her!

She expressed her enthusiasm about joining the agency and anticipates an enjoyable summer ahead. She’s curious about what the future may hold since she hasn’t had much dating experience in the past, making it feel like she’s enrolled in a quick course on dating!

I can’t wait to meet the other famous personalities, and I’m particularly excited about the mentoring aspect from the talent agents. I believe this part will be beneficial for my growth.

As a loyal enthusiast, I am thrilled to share that I myself have learned from a reliable TV source that show producers are overjoyed to welcome Christine into the fold. They believe she’ll shine brilliantly on-screen and resonate deeply with numerous women in their thirties who find themselves navigating dating after going through a divorce.

Viewers will get a more intimate glimpse into Christine, as she shares insights from her personal life and records coaching sessions with the dating experts on the show.

‘Since Christine openly shares her journey towards spiritual growth and healing in Ibiza on social media, it brings her great joy to now have the opportunity to work there.’

Jon Lee

According to reports, it seems that S Club star Jon Lee plans to search for his perfect match on the dating program, as he’s aiming to meet ‘the one’.

42-year-old performer, both a singer and an actor, previously belonged to a popular 90s music group that split apart in 2003. However, they rejoined forces again in March 2023.

Jon expressed that he’s terrible at dating and his dating experiences are quite dismal. Therefore, he’s content to rely on the expertise of the agent. Here’s hoping for an enjoyable time together!

He’s attempted dating shows before, as he previously participated in a special celebrity edition of Dinner Date in 2018.

In the program, he admitted that dating within S Club wasn’t a reality. He encountered individuals sporadically, but initiating a relationship while stating, “Hello, I’m Jon, incidentally, I’ll be away for half a year,” wasn’t feasible.

He also hinted at what he was looking for as he said: ‘Humour is a massive, massive thing for me.

You might choose between someone muscular and athletic-looking or an ordinary fellow, but if he’s genuinely humorous, I’d opt for the funny one without hesitation each and every time.

Olivia Hawkins

Additionally, among those scheduled to appear is Olivia Hawkins, a former contestant on Love Island, specifically from the All Stars season that concluded earlier in 2022.

In the TV show, the celebrity aged 29 was paired with Marcel Somerville throughout its run. However, they separated not long after the recording stopped.

Additionally, she added fuel to the fire by revealing what appeared to be messages from Grace Jackson suggesting her desire to triumph, leading to a heated argument on the program.

Previously, she gained recognition as a contestant on the ITV reality show, being one of the initial islanders in the winter edition of 2023.

During her series, Olivia encountered criticism from viewers who labeled her as manipulative due to her conflicts with fellow cast members and splitting audience opinion with her candid remarks.

Regarding signing up for Celebs Go Dating, Olivia shared her enthusiasm, stating: ‘I can’t wait to become part of the agency! I’ve been an avid viewer of the show for quite some time. It will be intriguing to let the audience catch a glimpse of a more authentic, exposed aspect of myself.’

Kerry Katona

Kerry Katona will return to the show again, this being her second stint, having last appeared six years ago. She was previously part of the series ‘Celebs Go Dating’ back in 2019.

She expressed her enthusiasm about returning to the agency, noting that she is currently in the process of discovering her true self. Rather than adapting to suit others, she aims to prioritize her own identity.

I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with Anna and Paul, as well as meeting Dr. Tara for the first time. I’m excited to find out what they have planned for me.

After parting ways with her former fiancé Ryan Mahoney about a year ago, Kerry is now open to the idea of finding new romance.

Previously known as a member of Atomic Kitten, now 44 years old, has announced that she and her partner Ryan, aged 36, parted ways back in November. Following their separation, Ryan left the home they had shared for six years.

But time heals all wounds and now Kerry believes the breakup has done her the world of good.

Recently, the TV figure has come back from a journey to Thailand, reporting a deeply profound and authentic spiritual transformation.

In her latest article for her magazine, she expressed that parting ways with Ryan turned out to be a positive development for her.

That phase of my life is behind me, and now, when I reflect on him, there’s no trace of romance left.

Louis Russell

The last speculated name on the roster is Louis Russell, a model who additionally plays semi-professional football and has experience in professional boxing.

Louis expressed his enthusiasm about joining the agency, stating it seems like a new beginning in his dating life. He’s prepared to transition beyond casual encounters and instead concentrate on discovering a genuine companion.

The series premiered in April 2020, offering a fresh perspective to the reality dating scene by featuring a collection of individuals seeking romance while strictly prohibiting any form of physical intimacy.

On the show, he was one of the most memorable personalities and biggest rule breakers.

Hampshire, U.K. model Louis, 23, is described as, ‘cheeky, charming and a challenge.’

In my line of work as a lifestyle guide, I can tell you that my interests span from the physical rigors of boxing and football to the more intricate art of charming a lady for an enchanting evening. You see, much like my rebellious days spent in detention during my school years, I’ve never been one to toe the line when it comes to living life on my own terms.

His description for Too Hot To Handle suggests that he’s probably going to make a genuine effort to capture the attention of the girls, and given his charm and eloquence, it seems probable that he won’t need to exert much effort.

Mark Labbett

Ultimately, TV personality Mark Labbett, famously recognized as “The Beast,” is set to join the team at a future point in time.

59-year-old trivia host admitted feeling ‘anxious’ about participating, yet eager to experience an activity that falls outside his usual comfort zone.

He confessed, “I’m feeling somewhat anxious since this falls beyond my usual comfort zone. Yet, it also presents a unique opportunity for me to engage in activities I don’t typically pursue. And let’s be honest, it offers a chance to encounter and connect with intriguing women. Frankly, what else could I ask for?

Mark and TV presenter Hayley Palmer split in May 2024, just days after their one year anniversary.

Earlier, Hayley stated that the reason Mark broke off their relationship was due to his unwillingness to go through a divorce with his ex-wife, Katie (age 32), who they share a seven-year-old son named Lawrence with.

As a lifestyle advisor, I’ve experienced my own share of life changes, such as the end of my seven-year marriage with Mark in 2020. However, even through this transition, Katie and I remain committed co-parents, nurturing our son’s growth together.
