Sources say that the reality TV show Celebs Go Dating is interested in casting Lucinda Light, who appeared on Married At First Sight, for its 2026 season.
The 44-year-old Australian TV personality is reportedly interested in appearing on the E4 reality show, following a disappointing experience looking for love on a previous TV program.
And Channel 4 bosses are reportedly equally keen to sign her, according to The Sun.
According to a source, she’s currently discussing a potential role with E4 executives, and they are very enthusiastic about having her join the project.
The Daily Mail contacted Channel 4 for a comment.
Lucinda starred on MAFS Australia last year, marrying business owner Timothy Smith, 52.

The couple couldn’t make their marriage work and ultimately decided to separate because they didn’t develop a romantic connection.
At first, Tim and Lucinda stayed friends, but things changed when Tim unfollowed her on Instagram. He said she’d become preoccupied with her newfound fame and wasn’t the same person he’d married while they were filming.
Lucinda apologized if she had upset him, and wished Tim all the best in life and his career.
Negotiations for a show are happening after her Australian tour in January 2025, which followed a successful tour throughout the UK.
Before her first performance, she used Instagram to ask fans to purchase tickets. Some followers were surprised to see she was charging nearly $200 for a meet-and-greet opportunity.
Tickets for her five-day speaking tour cost between $49 and $59. Those who wanted to meet her in person had to pay an additional $189.
People who purchased the expensive tickets got to sit in the front row at the 90-minute show, which will be held in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
With the first performance just weeks away, ticket sales were lagging, likely because of the high price. Yahoo Lifestyle reported that only about 24% of tickets in Sydney had been sold.

As a huge fan, I’ve been tracking ticket sales closely, and I’m excited to share that 17% of the Perth tickets have already been snapped up! Even better, over half – 56% – of the best seats right at the front for Lucinda’s Melbourne show are gone. It’s amazing to see how quickly things are selling out!
Lucinda began her Australian tour with a performance in Perth’s Regal Hall on January 23rd. She then traveled to Sydney to speak at City Recital Hall on January 25th.
Lucinda performed at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne on January 30th, and her tour will conclude on February 1st at the Powerhouse in Brisbane.
