In a surprising turn of events, Alan Carr successfully tricked Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga into thinking he was one of the good guys (a ‘Faithful’ player). As a result, he won the entire £87,500 prize as a ‘Traitor’ on the show.
Even though Joe, 35, accurately identified Alan and Cat Burns, 25, as the Traitors, he couldn’t persuade the other players. He was unexpectedly eliminated at the very end when Nick betrayed him.
The rugby star revealed on Saturday Kitchen that he was deeply hurt by a friend’s betrayal, but they’ve since resolved their differences and are on good terms.
I was disappointed he didn’t follow my plan, choosing instead to trust his instincts. But I was still completely smitten with him – I couldn’t help but adore his sweet face and the charming details, like the little bow tie and the three heart symbols he drew next to my name.

It comes after fans called for Alan to receive a knighthood after his surprise victory.
The show’s finale drew an average of 11.1 million viewers, peaking at 12 million. This made it the BBC’s most-watched program overnight since the Gavin & Stacey Christmas special aired last year.
People were amazed and confused when Alan won the competition, especially since he’d previously said he was just as likely to be a ‘Traitor’ as a past contestant, Linda Rands.

In this episode, the final five contestants – Cat, Joe, Nick, David, and Alan – took on a huge, last challenge on the show’s iconic steam train.
The task seemed straightforward: get on the train, locate the keys, open the crates, and grab the gold, all before time ran out—they had just 20 minutes.
As expected from the show ‘Traitors’, host Claudia Winkleman surprised everyone by revealing the crates were actually filled with explosives.
Fortunately, the team successfully retrieved the gold and exited the train just before it exploded, bringing the total prize money to a remarkable £87,500.
The group then faced one last roundtable where suspicions ran high.
Joe suspected Alan and Cat were the Traitors, so he agreed to vote with David against them, but planned to reveal their supposed betrayal afterward.
I was on the edge of my seat watching David fight to stay in the game! It was such a shock when Cat ended up being voted out, especially after Joe changed his mind at the very last second. It was a real twist!
Alan, the last remaining ‘Traitor’, explained that Cat’s elimination had made things much harder for him, as he was now on his own in trying to win the competition.
Everyone remained worried that a spy was still among them, as the singer never revealed who she really was when she said goodbye.
Looking back on her experience, Cat shared that she has no regrets. She was happy to have reached the final and felt proud of her accomplishment.
Okay, so it was brutal. Nick totally blindsided Joe, my absolute favorite, right at the very end! They were all heading to the firepit to throw stones and decide if there was still a Traitor hiding, and Nick just… went for it. I honestly couldn’t believe it! It was such a shock, especially with those final four. I was screaming at the TV!
Nick unexpectedly began to question Joe’s trustworthiness after seeing Joe apologize to Cat when she was eliminated.
Nick expressed his affection, saying he truly didn’t expect to feel this way, but seeing you vote for Cat confirmed his feelings. He finished by saying he loves you.
After being unexpectedly eliminated, Joe expressed his disappointment, saying he misjudged the situation and felt betrayed by those who voted him out at the last moment.
With just David, Alan and Nick, it was up to them to decide if there was a Traitor in their midst.
David said: ‘I’ve never believed Alan is a Traitor.’
Nick also voted to finish the game. He explained he thought both players were telling the truth and that they had succeeded – but then Alan surprised everyone with a shocking announcement that changed everything.
