Alan Carr, recently crowned winner of The Celebrity Traitors, is thrilled to be voicing a character alongside his close friend Amanda Holden in Disney & Pixar’s new animated film, Hoppers. They’ll play Alan the Squirrel and Amanda the Spider, respectively, in the UK version of the comedy.
Carr expressed his enthusiasm for the part, saying he was thrilled to start recording his lines as Alan the Squirrel. He called being in a Pixar movie a lifelong dream and is excited for audiences to see the characters come to life on the big screen.
I’m so excited to share that I’m going to be voicing a character in Hoppers, a brand new movie from the amazing studio! Honestly, when Disney reaches out, you just have to say yes – it’s a dream come true!

Disney and Pixar’s released photos reveal that actor Paul Rudd easily transformed into his character, wearing a squirrel costume during the recording session. He acted alongside Aubrey Plaza, who was dressed as a stylish spider.
Piper Curda heads up a fantastic cast that now includes the latest additions, Jon Hamm, Bobby Moynihan, Dave Franco, and three-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep.

Okay, so I just heard about this movie called Hoppers, and it sounds wild! It’s about this woman named Mabel who really loves animals. She gets a chance to try out some new tech that lets her basically transfer her mind into a super realistic robotic beaver! The whole point is so she can talk to animals directly. Seriously, a robotic beaver! I’m intrigued.
The story follows Mabel as she discovers incredible secrets about the animal world. She teams up with a charming beaver named King George and works to unite all the animals against a serious danger: the persuasive and potentially harmful local mayor, Jerry Generazzo.
Hoppers will open exclusively in UK and Irish cinemas on 6 March 2026.
After appearing on and gaining popularity from Celebrity Traitors, Alan Carr is now receiving a lot of new job offers and requests.

The comedian recently announced a new, original unscripted series coming to Hulu (via Disney+). The show will follow him as he tries to buy and manage his own castle.
Currently called Castle Man, the series will be made by Expectation, the production company known for Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm and the BBC sitcom Alma’s Not Normal.
So, the host announced he’s going through a bit of a midlife thing, and honestly, it’s awesome. He’s turning 50 in June, and instead of getting a sports car or trying to look younger, he’s decided he wants to buy a castle! It’s way cooler than anything I’d do, honestly.
Growing up in Northampton, I’ve always been a dreamer, captivated by the beauty and stories of grand, historic houses. Now that I’m turning fifty, I finally feel ready to pursue that dream. All I want is a room in a castle – preferably one with a turret and a drawbridge!
Hoppers will be released exclusively in UK and Irish cinemas on 6 March 2026.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant 100-page magazine dedicated to Taylor Swift, is now available! You can purchase it at newsagents or online for only £8.99.
