With the finale of The Traitors just around the corner, tensions are high at Ardross Castle. The Traitors and Faithful players are fiercely competing to win money for their favorite charities.
Despite making it to the final, Nick Mohammed shared that disagreements continued off-camera. He mentioned one contestant became very upset with the show’s producers after being refused something they considered a fundamental need.
Oh my gosh, you guys, he finally talked about being on the show! Ahead of the last episode on Thursday, he said he ‘absolutely adored’ everything – and honestly, same! It’s so amazing to hear how much he loved it, and it just makes me love him and the show even more. He’s 45, can you believe it? Still perfect!
I was listening to the Comedian’s Comedian podcast with Stuart Goldsmith, and the guest was talking about how the filming process was deliberately set up to be really tense. The production team really knew what they were doing to build that atmosphere!
Nick explained that the contestants had no contact with the outside world. They weren’t allowed to have phones or any other devices, and they weren’t even told the time.
He complimented the production team, calling their work ‘clever’ and ‘positive,’ but revealed that one of his fellow celebrities wasn’t happy about having their screen time reduced.

The actor, known for Ted Lasso, described a situation where all personal belongings were removed, and communication was severely limited. He was only permitted one brief phone call each day to speak with his children, effectively cutting everyone off from the outside world.
They didn’t tell us what time it was. While we were in the castle, if you asked the time, the guards would jokingly respond with “It’s Traitors time!”
Nick explained that everyone on set was instructed to respond with a specific phrase until someone finally protested, arguing that simply stating the time was a basic right and shouldn’t be restricted.
The comedian also mentioned he wasn’t entirely comfortable with the show, preferring to perform as his character, Mr. Swallow, instead of himself.
He confessed he’d previously declined offers to appear on shows like Taskmaster, but he’s such a big fan of The Traitors that he couldn’t resist joining the cast.
This happened after Nick joined forces with fellow contestants Joe Marler and David Olusoga to try and identify the Traitors before the final episode.
In the last episode of the show, rugby player Joe strongly suspected Alan Carr and Cat Burns of being the Traitors, bringing him closer to revealing their identities.
Last week’s episode shocked viewers when comedian Alan, age 49, unexpectedly and violently killed Celia Imrie during a dinner party held after the roundtable discussion.

Kate Garraway from Good Morning Britain was eliminated from the group after the ‘Faithful’ players voted her out, believing she was secretly working against them.
Viewers criticized her for not offering any suspects or ideas in previous episodes, during which eleven players were eliminated or voted out, and only one Traitor, Jonathan Ross, was identified.
Once Kate left, Joe started thinking again about his earlier suspicion that Alan might be secretly working against them, believing Alan had been cleverly hiding his true intentions. He then told Nick he also suspected Cat.
Claudia Winkleman gathered the remaining five contestants around a fire pit and asked them to convince each other they hadn’t been deceiving anyone.
Alan drew attention to himself when he unexpectedly burst out laughing while attempting to say, ‘I’m a Faithful’.
This simply strengthened Joe’s belief, and he thought to himself, ‘This just proves what I already suspected about Alan.’
The fact that he won’t look at us and honestly say he’s trustworthy should be a major warning sign. If that doesn’t seem concerning, I don’t know what does.
The retired rugby player also started paying attention to singer Cat, 25, who hadn’t been noticed much yet. Hoping to connect with her, he tried to get Nick and David, both 55, to help him with his plan before the final discussion.

He explained his strategy: get close to Alan and Cat to ensure they don’t eliminate him, then betray them at the very end. He warned the other players, saying he’s targeting them.
People watching the show called Joe a genius after he successfully figured out who the two Traitors were.
Viewers on X applauded Joe Marler for being insightful, with many commenting that he was ‘the smartest man in this game’.
As a lifestyle expert, I know how frustrating it can be to wait week after week for answers! That’s why I’m thrilled to share that, instead of the usual two episodes a week on BBC One, the big finale will be revealed in one extended episode. No more cliffhangers and waiting – you’ll get the whole story at once!
The season finale of Celebrity Traitors will now air only on Thursday night at 9pm, and it will be longer than usual.
The last episode of the celebrity-filled spin-off series will be extended by 10 minutes, making it 70 minutes long instead of the usual 60.
Right after the main show, you can watch the after-show, “The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked,” on BBC Two at 10:10pm.
Ed Gamble will be back with the remaining celebrities to talk about everything that happens in the final episode, where the prize money will be awarded.
