Celebrity Traitors EXPOSED: No Phones, No Mercy – Even for A-Listers!

It’s been reported that the strict guidelines set for the original cast of Celebrity Traitors have been disclosed, and it seems that these celebrities aren’t receiving any preferential treatment.

On Tuesday, the long-awaited roster of 19 well-known individuals chosen for the BBC’s upcoming series was unveiled.

Currently, well-known figures such as Alan Carr, Stephen Fry, and Paloma Faith are being isolated in separate hotels prior to the start of filming.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve learned that even the A-list celebrities aren’t immune to certain measures for safety and security. In recent reports from The Sun, it appears that these stars are being deprived of their mobile devices temporarily, a precautionary move likely intended to ensure their wellbeing and privacy during this event.

According to a source, the BBC is being extra cautious with the contestants, regardless of their familiarity as popular figures.

Everyone is confined within the same hotel, yet a security officer stationed on each of their floors ensures that they don’t communicate or share strategies by maintaining physical separation.

They noted that some participants complained about being without their phones, but the BBC must verify they aren’t sending messages or communicating via social media, hence a complete prohibition is necessary.

Reportedly, there’s a device available for actors to make personal calls back home, under the supervision of a chaperone.

According to reports, the BBC aims to make this series more “spectacularly dynamic” than any other, which is likely why they’re adopting a very cautious approach, unwilling to take any risks.

TopMob has contacted the BBC for comment.

In simple terms, the popular show “Celebrity Traitors” will be back on the air, this time hosted by Claudia Winkleman. The selected celebrities are preparing to head towards Ardross Castle to initiate recording sessions.

Among the celebrities taking on roles as either Traitors or Faithfuls are a mix of talented actors: Stephen Fry, Ruth Codd, Celia Imrie, Tameka Empson, and Mark Bonnar.

Additionally, comedians such as Alan Carr, Nick Mohammed, Joe Wilkinson, and Lucy Beaumont will participate, making the lineup even more diverse with the addition of singers like Paloma Faith, Cat Burns, and Charlotte Church.

In addition, it has been verified that presenters such as Jonathan Ross, Clare Balding, and Kate Garraway will be there, along with Olympic diver Tom Daley, rugby player Joe Marler, historian and author David Olusoga, and YouTube personality Niko Omilana. They are all set to attend the event.

Absent from the final roster was comedienne and actress Jennifer Saunders, whose participation had been widely speculated.

On Monday, comedian Lucy was the final act to join the lineup for the show, after she unexpectedly parted ways with her fellow comedian, Jon Richardson.

The acclaimed comedienne, aged 40, is reportedly eager to further establish her reputation among viewers. She’ll soon embark on filming for the series at its Scottish castle location over the coming days.

According to a source, Lucy is quite fond of the program and can hardly wait to participate at Ardross Castle.

Since her separation from Jon, she’s been putting in a lot of effort to establish herself further. The show “Celebrity Traitors” seems like an excellent platform for her to do so.

TopMob have contacted Lucy’s reps and BBC for comment.

In April 2024, Lucy, known for gracing multiple talk shows and winning the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer in 2012, took everyone by surprise when she announced her intention to end her nine-year marriage to Jon, after nearly a decade together.

They share a daughter and tied the knot in April 2015, two years after they started dating in 2013.

First, they bumped into each other thanks to mutual friend Roisin Conaty, and subsequently collaborated on multiple projects, one of which was the series titled “Meet The Richardsons.

In an announcement made in April, they revealed that after spending nine years together, they’ve decided to part ways. They’ve mutually agreed, with understanding, that it’s time for them to end their marriage through a divorce and live independently from each other.

Jon handed over £1.625million to Lucy when they called time on their marriage.

Regarding our separation, she shared with OK! Magazine, “Although our relationship was quite public, and many may expect me to discuss it due to our familiarity as a couple, I choose not to do so, not out of hostility.

‘We found common ground in our mutual decision to keep matters related to our marriage and personal lives private, understanding it may seem unusual to others who aren’t privy to such conversations.’
