Society show-offs humbled
Numerous factors can potentially strain or even end a marriage, such as keeping secrets, insufficient emotional connection, financial difficulties, among others.
For the elite couples residing in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, appearing in Vogue Brides appears to be the deadliest social faux pas of all.
Being featured in the prestigious bridal edition of a well-known fashion magazine is widely regarded as the pinnacle of status among affluent newlyweds.
More recently, at least four well-known couples have announced their separations shortly after sharing their wedding photos and overly adoring interviews in Vogue. These conversations were so heartfelt that they almost made me tear up.

Recently, a certain trend has been generating a lot of discussion among residents in the eastern suburbs, with some humorously referring to it as “Vogue Brides’ Misfortune.
Who are the four ex-couples?
Initially, we have Andy El Bayeh, a publicist, and Harriet Williams, a kinesiologist. They exchanged vows during a magical three-day wedding in the forest in March 2022, only to announce their separation in August 2024.
In addition, Montarna McDonald and Nicholas Pitt, often referred to as our Group Chat favorites, exchanged vows at a beautiful ‘summer countryside wedding’ in the Hunter Region back in 2018. Although their split made headlines in July, they had already parted ways for quite some time before that news emerged.
Additionally, Montarna’s partner Sophie Coote, one of the co-founders of the fashion brand Sir, tied the knot with her spouse Daniel Fraser at a ‘secret garden wedding’ held in Western Australia in 2023, as Vogue put it.
In August 2024, after a brief marriage, she introduced her new partner, Jordy Burrows – who was previously married to The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift actress Nathalie Kelley – to the public.
2019 was a year I’ll never forget, for it marked the breathtakingly romantic ‘intimate Melbourne wedding’ of my beloved sports heroine, AFLW great Moana Hope, and the stunning model, Isabella Carlstrom. I still get goosebumps thinking about it!
In May 2023, they decided to have two kids through IVF, but unfortunately, they separated, often referred to as ‘consciously uncoupling’. Afterwards, Moana started dating the famous beauty queen Maria Thattil, yet their relationship didn’t last long either.

One socialite I spoke with explained that three unlucky romantic relationships in a row, as some believe happens to those associated with Vogue, constitutes a pattern rather than just a series of unfortunate coincidences.
It’s hard not to suspect that their overly flattering titles and stylish black-and-white images might have brought a touch of bad luck their way, and it’s truly unfortunate.

You wouldn’t typically associate Bexley with the location of one of Australia’s wealthiest individuals establishing an extensive private estate, as it is not usually known for such grand residences.
However, it’s that suburban neighborhood in southern Sydney that feels like home to Richard White, the newsworthy CEO of WiseTech Global.
Originally aspiring to be a rock star but eventually amassing wealth in software, this individual now resides with his longtime friends from adolescence and his mother within the advanced, solar-empowered compound they constructed around his old family residence.
It seems there is another visitor staying lavishly at White’s office in Bexley, causing quite a stir among the neighbors. This unexpected guest might also be causing some discomfort for White’s wife, Zena Nasser.
The individual being referred to is Kimberlee Cvitash, an American woman, who, according to reports, has been getting quite close to the wealthy tech entrepreneur, Elon White. Recently, she’s been connected to him, and history shows that White’s relationships often lead to complex legal disputes.

According to past records, Kimberlee Anne, also known as Cvitash, encountered a businessman for the first time in San Francisco during the year 2022, where she was participating in a marathon at that time.
It’s well-known within the neighborhood that she occasionally appears in Bexley, with her distinctive American accent and voluptuous build making her stand out amongst the local residents.
It seems uncertain whether she’s presently in the country, but she appears to be keeping a close eye on the turbulent happenings in White’s life.
This week, I managed to get hold of some screenshots from Cvitash’s private Instagram feed. It seems she has been quite active on the platform, given the recent events such as several directors leaving WiseTech and rumors about White’s tumultuous relationship with Nasser making headlines.
The posts depict brags about her lavish living, portraying herself as both wildly attractive and uncontrollable to males, with occasional mentions of ‘karma’ as well.
Multiple posts feature the Australian flag emoticons, indicating that she might be targeting these messages towards undisclosed adversaries within Australia.

In my recent social media post, I shared an image of Mark Manson’s self-help book, “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***,” accompanied by the playful comment, “A good laugh never hurt anyone.” Interestingly enough, this very same book was among the materials distributed at a women’s luncheon organized by Nasser, held at Mimi’s in Coogee during late November. This gathering took place following the high-profile court case between White and his former partner, Linda Rogan, in the Federal Court.
In a court hearing, Rogan – a businesswoman from Laser Clinics who had been considered for The Real Housewives of Sydney – claimed that White proposed to invest in her company if she agreed to certain sexual terms. During their relationship, White also purchased a $13.1 million property in Vaucluse for Rogan, which she didn’t live in but spent over $90,000 on high-end furniture for. The outstanding bill for the unpaid furniture was a significant issue in the legal dispute between them.
One more of Cvitash’s personal Instagram stories featured a re-post of the quote, “Everything is fair game in love and extortion,” accompanied by an emoticon symbolizing nausea or disgust.
1. Option A: The first post contained the text, ‘He may claim I’m crazy, but he won’t share how many times he returned.’
2. Option B: In the second post, Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox are depicted with the caption, ‘The man who was infatuated with me and kept coming back.’
The latter post included Australian flag emojis.

Another post, which prominently displayed the Australian flag, was an excerpt from the meme account @SpiritualAsylum that said, “Karma never forgets. Be mindful of how you treat others.” A subsequent message read, “I’m grateful no one has a podcast [because] I have plenty to express.” (This version maintains the original meaning while being more conversational and easier to comprehend.)
Videos shared on Cvitash’s Instagram account hint at an earlier trip to Bexley, taken around early July. In one of her posts, she joyously declared, “Celebrating Freedom Day from Australia. I adore my Bexley guitar player.” It is known that White, who once played and repaired guitars for Australian rock bands in the ’70s, later transitioned into being a software entrepreneur.
After that particular month, it appeared as though she had returned to America and shared an old video of suburban backyards accompanied by the comment: “I long for the birds in Bexley and him.” Using the hashtags: “#guitarplayers”, “#downunder”.
The Group Chat reached out to Cvitash for a comment through her website, but didn’t get a reply back. Whether her posts are just optimistic speculation or if she truly is White’s romantic partner is still uncertain. We’ll provide updates as more information becomes available.
And finally… guess who, don’t sue
No desperate, bag-licking socialites this week, dear readers.
Here’s an engaging way to share this intriguing tidbit: “I’ve got an exclusive story about an Australian celebrity, usually accustomed to the glitz and glamour, who experienced an unanticipated moment of humility in a cozy little bar nestled in Tokyo.
Although they are well-known as a major Hollywood figure, it appears they were seen as no different from an average citizen when they recently entered Narukiyo Izakaya, a stylish underground sushi bar in Tokyo.
The star, feeling quite refreshed, kept repeating their well-known name to the foreign waiter at the bar, who double-checked if this famous individual had made a reservation.
After failing to secure a table reservation, they were directed to a solitary stool at the bar, only to be left unattended.
or
When their attempts to reserve a table fell through, they were assigned a single seat at the counter, but were subsequently disregarded.
As they watched the skillful Narukiyo crafting sashimi and tempura at the counter, their wounded pride began to mend swiftly.

The well-known and unconventional chef, known for sporting a headscarf emblazoned with the widely recognized English phrase “Go Away” and a pin that says “I enjoy intimacy,” seemed to disregard his famous visitor entirely. This behavior might not be shocking considering he often hosts celebrities like Sofia Coppola or Dua Lipa in his restaurant.
However, it was the waiter’s eyes sparkling brightly, much like a Christmas tree, that particularly caught my spy’s attention upon the arrival of a youthful, towering, and strikingly attractive Japanese individual at the entrance.
Since I’m not familiar with Tokyo’s famous personalities, my source couldn’t positively identify the man, but based on the response he received, they speculated that he might be an actor from movies or television.
Initially, the nearby celestial body indicated towards a solitary Australian, who was casually standing at the bar. Soon after, the embarrassed waiter, recognizing his mistake, hurried over to offer an apology and promptly escorted them to a privileged seating area.
