Celebrity real estate agent leaves Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles show after 13 years
As a dedicated fan who has followed Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles for over a decade, I must admit that saying goodbye to Josh and Heather Altman feels like bidding adieu to old friends. Their journey on the show has been nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s hard not to feel a pang of nostalgia as they move on to new chapters in their lives.
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles is losing two of its real estate agents.
Following a span of 13 years spanning over 11 seasons on the well-known Bravo reality TV series, Josh Altman, aged 45, along with his fellow cast member and spouse Heather Altman, 39, have decided to part ways with the popular real estate show.
Josh joined the cast in the fourth season in 2010 while Heather joined in the third season in 2008.
Wow, what an incredible journey! That’s our take on Million Dollar Listing LA,” the pair expressed on Instagram.
We’ll always cherish the memories, friendships, adventures, successes, ups, downs, and opportunities that have come our way – there’s nothing we’d change about it.
They gratefully acknowledged everyone for sharing this remarkable odyssey alongside their family and business over the past fifteen years of their lives, and added:
Josh and Heather conveyed the message while seated comfortably on their living room couch, with Josh affectionately wrapping an arm around Heather, and Heather resting her hand gently on Josh’s knee.
It’s truly fortunate to be involved with a fantastic show that not only kick-started a whole new TV genre, but also brought so many talented individuals together. Gratitude is due in abundance.
Not only us, but particularly those who’ve journeyed with us thus far, we hold you dear. It’s now time to embark on a fresh phase of life, devoting more attention to our loved ones.
The couple most recently were featured in season 15, which concluded last month.
The couple are choosing to focus more on their family and their careers away from constant cameras.
The couple share daughter Lexi, 7, and son Ace, five.
This high-powered duo has successfully offloaded real estate valued at more than $7 billion during their time on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
Josh has arranged home purchases for numerous high-profile individuals such as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Britney Spears and Calvin Harris.
Earlier this year, Josh gave credit to the show for helping his career in real estate succeed.
In a conversation with Us Weekly in July, Josh explained that the key to utilizing a television is being mindful of its power from the very beginning. He emphasized that when used effectively, a television can be an incredibly potent marketing asset for any business.
If carried out effectively, it could propel your business to an unprecedented height, a stage that many spend a lifetime trying to reach.
He added, ‘Fifteen years ago, in a different stage of my life, I was fighting to rise up in a highly competitive field. Following the 2007 economic downturn, I experienced significant losses. As a result, my mindset became, “Whatever it takes to regain what I had or simply to make it through.”‘
