As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that *Celebrity Race Across the World* is back! Fresh off their BAFTA win, this season’s celebrities are taking on a brand new adventure – racing from the beautiful Caribbean all the way to South America. It’s going to be an incredible journey!
And the line-up of celebrities taking on the challenge was revealed on Thursday.
Trading fancy experiences for simple travel and choosing adventure over comfort, presenter and DJ Tyler West and actor-singer Molly Rainford – who are engaged – are one of the celebrity couples taking on this exciting challenge.
Several celebrity families are also taking part, including broadcaster Roman Kemp with his sister, singer Harleymoon, writer Anita Rani with her father, Bal, and actor Dylan Llewellyn with his mother, Jackie.
This show features a race along a breathtaking route, exploring the hidden gems of Central America’s Caribbean and Pacific coasts.
The race starts on the beautiful Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and pushes teams to travel 5,900 kilometers to the stunning Península de La Guajira in Colombia – a region considered the gateway to South America.

According to Tim Harcourt, Chief Creative Officer at Studio Lambert, the show’s popularity proves how strongly viewers relate to its genuine emotions, inspiring personal stories, and touching human connections.
This show introduces a fresh group of celebrities to a unique environment, and the most compelling part is seeing them connect with each other, reveal their true selves, and evolve through a transformative journey.
It’s captivating, you never know what’s going to happen, and it delivers those unforgettable moments that have made it so popular with audiences.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I still remember the excitement from last year’s finale! It was such a close call, but Scott Mills and his husband Sam ultimately took home the win in 2024. What a fantastic moment!
In the series finale, the four remaining teams raced across Argentina and into Chile, heading for the coastal town of Frutillar to reach the finish line.
As the celebrities neared the end of their challenging Patagonia trek – a journey across mountains and deserts done on a limited budget – stress levels were rising.
Oh my gosh, the race was insane! Everyone scattered, taking all sorts of crazy routes – buses, coaches, taxis, even *hitchhiking*! But honestly, Kelly Brook and Jeremy Parisi? They were ahead of the pack right from the start! I knew they’d be competitive, but wow, they really took an early lead and I was so excited!
BBC Radio 2 hosts Scott and Sam, along with Kola Bokinni from Ted Lasso and Mary-Ellen, soon joined the couple, creating a lively and engaging moment.
When Kola, Mary-Ellen, Scott, and Sam reached Frutillar, they first stopped for a meal at a restaurant and then continued on to the volcano’s base camp.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Kola and Mary-Ellen, they were practically broke by the end, but they *refused* to give up! They had to finish the race on foot, and get this – they actually *climbed a volcano* just to reach that Chilean flag at the finish line! It was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen, seriously! They are total legends.
Scott and Sam were the first to finish the race, officially claiming victory. They finished two hours ahead of Kola and Mary-Ellen.
Scott described the feeling of opening a book and discovering it doesn’t contain any dedications or previous owners’ names as truly unique and breathtaking. He said it left him ‘speechless’.
This journey has been incredibly exciting, challenging, and sometimes really frustrating, but it shows how well we work together – we’re a team that knows how to succeed.

Sam added that winning was the ‘best feeling ever’.
Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy finished third, arriving almost a day after the leaders, with Kelly and Jeremy close behind.
The entire 12,500km route took 30 days for the groups to complete.
The BAFTA-winning show, created by Studio Lambert, will be back on BBC One and iPlayer this fall.
