Celebrity dentist kills himself at a casino – leaving his widow with a shocking burden… Plus, the secret past of new society queen bee – and a missing socialite rocks up at The Royal: THE GROUP CHAT
Widow’s burden after dentist kills himself at Crown
Her status as the preferred injector among Perth’s high society has attracted clients from as distant as the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
However, Dr. Clara Hurst, a frequent participant in Group Chat and a good friend of Kristin Fisher, is currently experiencing a situation that can’t be easily resolved with cosmetic treatments such as Botox.
Last year, at the age of 43, Dr. David Hurst, a renowned dentist known for treating celebrities, took his own life. The circumstances leading to this tragic event remain unclear.
The creator of the high-end dental practice, Perth Dental Rooms, who hails from Britain, has departed, leaving in his wake an unraveled domain that now includes over 130 patients who are uncertain about their care and lack reimbursement.
Following his unexpected death at Crown Perth on December 10, his company went into liquidation several weeks later. In the aftermath, his wife assumed the role of managing the business temporarily.

In the vibrant western suburbs of Perth, there’s been a lot of chatter about the contrasting paths taken by the Hursts lately – while my dear Clara’s cosmetic empire has flourished and broadened at an astonishing pace, her husband’s venture appears to be in decline.
Clara, a 43-year-old mother of two, who is widely recognized in Perth’s capital as a stylish cosmetician, has an impressive circle of famous acquaintances. Among them are Ms Fisher, the founder of Shelter Wellness Hub, Ben Mills; the founder himself, and Grant Schaffer, a notable technology investor.
A former dentist herself, Clara transitioned into cosmetic injectables and dermal therapies.
She is the proprietor of Blanc, an upscale salon located in Cottesloe, and jointly established The Secret, a skincare brand that provides medical-grade products tailored to individual skin types after completing a questionnaire.
In just half a year, The Secret surpassed a million dollars in sales. By 2021, its total sales had reached an impressive $2.65 million. However, initial estimates suggested that the business might generate up to $7 million in revenue as early as 2023.
Dr David Hurst first arrived in Australia under a cloud.
A dentist residing in the Vale of Glamorgan, South-East Wales, was given a suspended prison term in 2012 following his admission of stealing £15,584 (equivalent to approximately AU$41,225 today) across 69 instances, from the British National Health Service.
In 2013, he moved permanently to Australia, and without apparent issues, registered as a dentist there, even with a criminal background in the United Kingdom.

His wife hasn’t spoken out about her husband’s criminal history or the details related to the fall of his company in public yet.
It’s important to clarify that we’re not implying Clara knew about her husband’s illicit activities in Britain, and we’re also not insinuating she was aware of the alleged practice where he took substantial amounts from his Australian patients’ advance payments prior to his unexpected demise.
Amidst all the chaos that surrounds us, I can’t help but feel a sense of awe as whispers reach my ears about Clara’s bustling clinic and flourishing skincare empire continuing to run smoothly. It’s almost surreal, isn’t it? A beacon of consistency in an otherwise tumultuous world.
The only sign anything is amiss is that she appears to have deactivated her Instagram account.
Game, set and love match?
Each year, it’s once more the season where jet-setting socialite Kate Champion embarks on a summer travel adventure through Europe, starting in the city of romance. How delightful it would be to have such means!
In a more relaxed phraseology: The woman, a mother of two and formerly married to Alistair Champion, one of the founders of Laser Clinics Australia, recently visited Paris during the French Open. Consistent with her style, she’s been savoring the local cuisine.
It appears that for some time now, there were rumors circulating about Kate potentially having a new partner. It looks like she might have taken advantage of her tennis vacation to introduce him casually or subtly, so to speak.
Well, either that or she’s just having a bit of fun baiting gossip columnists like yours truly.
She posted a video on Instagram showing her having dinner with a locally known individual named Damien, who had quite a bit of hair, at an elegant restaurant called a brasserie. Joining them was real estate developer Barbara Coombes, originally from Vaucluse and previously known as Tzaneros.
It’s not much that’s been learned about Damien, as he appears to be uncomfortable with being filmed, a trait demonstrated when Kate pointed her phone towards him and he covered his face.

It seems they might know each other quite well, as suggested by Kate’s photo showing their intertwined hands at the table.
Over the past few years, it’s become common for Kate to sell her high-end fashion collection, which includes pieces from brands like Valentino, Céline, Chanel, Gucci, and Dior, at reduced prices.
Previously, when I inquired about her selling costly, almost new items at a low price, she modestly answered: ‘I prioritize charity.’
Kate had great fortune when she encountered her ex-husband Alistair while working at his Laser Clinics enterprise in 2009.
Eight years down the line, he along with his partner Babak Moini would go on to sell their company for a substantial sum of $650 million to a private investment group.
Previously, I announced their separation in January of the previous year. However, Kate refuted the split back then, labeling the whispers of marital strife as “Sydney folk being unkind.
however, it became known after only seven months that Alistair had entered into a fresh romantic involvement with socialite Rique Miroshnik, who is the ex-spouse of acclaimed plastic surgeon Michael Miroshnik and was once in a relationship with cricketer Michael Clarke.
Secret past of Queen Bee Bernie

In Sydney’s eastern suburbs, the remarkable ascent of Bernadette Sukkar, formerly known as Fahey, to a prominent societal position is almost legendary.
Currently, the woman who started as a dynamic force in fashion and PR, later became a fitness queen, and now serves as a manifestation guru operates the popular Pilates studio, Body by Berner, in the bustling city of Emerald.
However, prior to making a highly successful shift into the wellness industry, she had spent a full decade engaged in public relations work in New York.
And before her move to the Big Apple… no one really knows what she was doing.
In the exclusive neighborhoods of Sydney, it felt like magic, or rather, like Bernie had appeared seemingly out of thin air during the pandemic. Suddenly, I couldn’t go a day without hearing her name on everyone’s lips, making her the hottest topic in the eastern part of town.
This week, Daily Mail had the opportunity to sit down with Roxy Jacenco, who shared some insights about Ms. Sukkar’s life prior to her ascent to fame, giving us a unique perspective on her background.

Back in the day, I was fortunate enough to work for none other than Roxy’s once-vibrant, Paddington-rooted PR powerhouse, Sweaty Betty. Before I embarked on my global adventures, I was part of a team that included the incredible Jacenko. Little did we know then, she would become a key player in catapulting numerous society’s shining stars into stardom!
‘I am so proud of Bern,’ says Roxy, who now lives in Singapore.
In the initial stages, she served as my publicist at Sweaty Betty. Later, she departed and relocated to NYC, where she has since continued her work within the same field.
Observing her establish her own business after returning to Australia brings immense joy to me.
It so happened that I read an article yesterday showing her collecting trash outside her studio, and I had a moment of reflection thinking, “It appears she learned that from me.
‘You’re never bigger than the business or more important – just get it done.’
Wise words, indeed.
It’s not just Bernadette who graduated from Roxy’s employment and moved forward to greater opportunities after showing enthusiasm and ambition – many others have done so as well.
Once a key figure by her side, Holly Nasser – who served at Sweaty Betty from 2014 to 2018 – has now moved up to become the Head of Public Relations at Merivale.
Her marriage to Jake Kaiser was also highlighted in Vogue, much like Bernie’s wedding with Jordan Sukkar, the COO of Buildcorp.
- Stay tuned this weekend for an update on what happened to Roxy’s army of Sweaty Betty ‘clones’, exclusively for Mail+ subscribers.
Australia’s hottest WAG joins OnlyFans clone
Sport? in the Group Chat? Surely not! Never fear, we are strictly in WAG territory here.
Chelsea Becirevic, who is often referred to as the girlfriend of the tall Port Adelaide player Ivan Soldo, made an announcement this week that many people in the football community had anticipated. She did so by sharing a link in her Instagram bio.
However, those expecting an explicit OnlyFans account from her might be disillusioned, as she opted for Fanfix, a competing platform, which stands out by not permitting any nudity.
Good, clean fun from Australia’s hottest WAG – all for just $10 a month? Sign us up!
Additionally, there’s a premium ‘Ultra VIP’ plan priced at a substantial $80 monthly, offering enticing benefits like endless complimentary messaging, occasional surprise gifts, and personalized request fulfillment.

According to her, Ivan is incredibly helpful and consistently available to assist with creating content whenever I require it. (It can be quite challenging – yet someone has to take on the responsibility!)
The model, too, unveils that she and Ivan will debut their shared brand in October. This project, which they’ve been developing tirelessly for over a year, is worth keeping an eye on. Stay tuned!
Estate swindler’s proof of life after vanishing act
Last month, she failed to appear in court, happening only a few weeks following her second bankruptcy declaration.
Last weekend, amidst the bustling nightlife of the eastern suburbs, I happened upon the captivating Kashaya Williams, renowned celebrity wedding planner, living it up and making her presence known!
Wearing a little black lace dress, the solo mom appeared to be enjoying herself immensely at Bondi’s watering spot, The Royal – a rundown pub linked with Totti’s.

It seems she was previously seeing a cryptocurrency businessman, Michael Dunworth, who also attended St. Joseph’s College. However, recent appearances suggest she may currently be unattached and open to meeting new people.
Kashaya received a stunning oceanfront house worth $900,000 as a gift from her late grandfather’s estate, renowned radiologist Alan Grant. However, it was later discovered by the court that the letter granting this gift might have been a forgery, spanning just 50 words.
Despite the uncertainty over who exactly fabricated the letter, Justice John Slattery determined that Kashaya acquired the property through a deceptive and fraudulent method.
Previously, a florist found herself bankrupt after a court ruling. As a result, her possessions were taken due to an attempt by other family members to claim their portion of the inheritance.
In March, she was declared bankrupt yet again.

Williams had been scheduled for sentencing at the Waverley Local Court in early April, following her failure to appear for an earlier sentencing appointment regarding multiple unpaid fines and traffic violations, which she claimed were due to a health issue.
Approximately six weeks ago, there was a report expressing worries about her wellbeing due to her absence from the scheduled court hearing and neighbors’ accounts of not seeing her for an extended period at her Double Bay residence.
As I strolled into The Royal, I couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief upon seeing her, lively as ever, surrounded by a group of fabulous ladies, each holding a schooner in hand. For just a fleeting instant, I had entertained concerns about her well-being. What a delightful surprise it was to find her in such great spirits!
Martha tut-tuts Totti’s
On Wednesday, we shared news about Martha Stewart, a celebrated chef and past inmate, having dinner at Totti’s Bondi – a favorite eatery among the trendy crowd living in the eastern suburbs.
Overhearing Martha’s meal, another diner commented that she really appreciated the food, particularly enjoying the antipasto and the bread baked in a wood-fired oven.
But it wasn’t a flawless dining experience.
During a chat session at the Vivid Festival in the evening, Martha expressed some concerns about the level of service she received.
As it happened, the famed chef had a reservation for lunch, yet upon arrival at the Italian eatery with her culinary crew, they discovered that their table was still unoccupied.
The U.S.’s First Lady stood outside, patiently waiting, while the team at Merivale hurriedly organized everything for her.
It’s the sort of thing sure to rankle a famous perfectionist like CEO Justin Hemmes.
And finally… guess who, don’t sue!
This social media personality rarely features or references her spouse, even though she openly shares nearly all other aspects of her personal life online.
At first, fans thought it was cute that she respected his wishes to lead a private life.
Now, they’re not so sure.
Excessive gossip circulates, spreading unbelievable stories about the man’s history and his relatives, filled with falsehoods and inaccuracies.
Maybe it’s time he came out of the shadows – if only to set the record straight.
