Celebrity Big Brother’s David Potts reveals the secret behind his four stone weight loss as he shares incredible before and after pictures

David Potts looked dramatically different in a recent Instagram post, revealing he’d lost four stone in weight.

The winner of the 2024 Celebrity Big Brother series, a 32-year-old, has made significant changes to his lifestyle as he’s been working to lose 10 stone.

David, who has 360,000 followers, recently shared an update about his weight loss, admitting it hasn’t been an easy process as he’s worked towards improving his health.

He explained that he lost weight through healthy eating and exercise alone, emphasizing he didn’t use any weight-loss injections.

Okay, so I’ve been on a real health kick lately, and I’m so excited to share my progress! I’ve lost four stone, which is amazing! I’m already feeling so much lighter and more energetic – I can practically see myself running faster! It hasn’t been easy juggling everything with my hectic schedule, but I’m determined to make it work and prioritize my well-being. It’s all about finding what fits into your life, you know?

David shared that while weight isn’t everything, seeing his progress photos is incredibly motivating – he feels amazing! He recommends anyone wanting to transform their own body to contact his trainer. He still has about 6 stone to lose to reach his goal.

He followed up with a funny video of himself lip-syncing to a meme and pretending to be upset about losing another two pounds.

David started making big changes to his life in October 2020, revealing he was working with a trainer to get healthier.

In a 2024 interview on FUBAR Radio, the star of Celebrity Karaoke Club shared details about his personal change with hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng.

David described feeling extremely unwell after his workouts, saying he often had to sit in the car park for almost an hour feeling nauseous, and that this happened after every session.

He shared that he’d lost almost two and a half stone, but gained about four pounds during a two-week vacation in Greece. Despite that, he’s still lost over two stone in total.

I’ve been following David’s journey, and he recently shared how he lost the weight! He’s been working with a company called Exante, and that’s been key to his success.

I’m losing weight by eating fewer calories and working with a fantastic personal trainer who gives me a really good workout.

I’m hoping to lose weight and improve my overall health. I also want to feel better about how I look.

I don’t hate my appearance, I simply want to be healthier.

‘Being overweight obviously isn’t healthy. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with it.

I haven’t been in good shape for a while, but more than losing weight, I just want to improve my overall health.

‘I’m aiming for 10 stone. I literally want to be dodging grids walking down the street!’

David grew up in Bolton and, after turning twenty, spent a few years working as a holiday representative in Ibiza and Magaluf.

In 2016, television producers discovered him and invited him to be on the show Ibiza Weekender, where he appeared in the fifth season alongside Ellie Young.

He proved popular with viewers and remained on the show until it ended in 2020.

I was so excited to see David branching out and appearing on other shows! The biggest moment for me was definitely when he joined the cast of Celebs Go Dating back in 2019 – I couldn’t wait to see what would happen!

He was joined by several reality TV stars, including Pete Wicks from TOWIE, Georgia Steel and Jack Fowler from Love Island, and Sam Thompson from Made In Chelsea.

Despite going on dates with a few men, the celebrity hadn’t found a lasting connection.

Later in the year, David competed on the reality show Celebs On The Farm, finishing second place to ex-footballer Paul Merson.

David continued to build his public profile, finishing second on both Celebrity Karaoke Club the next year and Celebrity Ghost Trip in 2021.

Oh my god, 2023 was HUGE for him! He went back to Kavos Weekender, but not just as any rep – he was Head Rep! It was like, a full circle moment for all of us longtime fans. And then, 2024?! He won Celebrity Big Brother! I seriously screamed when they announced it. It was everything we knew he was capable of!
