In the heated discussion, viewers found themselves split, as some supported Trisha’s stance, while others didn’t hesitate to criticize her remarks, labeling them as inappropriate.

In a conversation with X, they stated: ‘Trisha was correct in her observation as it’s clear Michael was employing Islamophobic arguments.’

‘Michael’s comments were undeniably targeting Muslims. It’s good that Trisha picked up on this.’

Despite the criticism directed towards Mickey following his actions, many viewers labeled him as homophobic. This was due to his comments about making JoJo, a 21-year-old lesbian dancer, cry by suggesting he could change her sexuality and using derogatory language towards her during their time in the house.

Additionally, they found Corrie actor Jack uninteresting and felt that Michael was prematurely removed from the house.

He swiped: ‘What do you know, you can’t cook.’

Initially dismissing it with a laugh, Patsy later retreated to the diary room to vent her feelings to Big Brother.

She apologized, then began to cry. “I made an effort to address the situation,” she explained, “but it didn’t go as planned. I’m upset because I feel I didn’t live up to my own expectations in how I reacted.

I’m keen on my children being self-assertive all the time, but perhaps I should consider the possibility that it was just a jest, not something more serious.

‘I need to try to rise above it. It doesn’t mean I have to like him,’ she added.

Fans have taken to X, formerly Twitter, and slammed Mickey for his harsh words. 

They stated, “Mickey repeatedly bullying another woman, Patsy is a symbol of our culture, it’s time for him to leave the Big Brother UK house.”

The sentiment expressed was, “It’s inappropriate and disrespectful for Mickey Rourke to bring tears to the eyes of our cherished British institution, Patsy Palmer.”
