Celebrity Apprentice Star Nearly Run Down in Shocking Car Park Attack

The authorities in New South Wales, specifically the police department, are currently investigating a reported incident where Celebrity Apprentice star Carla from Bankstown is said to have been subjected to disrespectful conduct.

Benjamin James, known as his drag persona Carla, shared with The Daily Telegraph that he was deeply frightened, trembling, and weeping, following an incident on Sunday afternoon when two individuals in an SUV tried to hit him near his neighborhood supermarket in Bankstown.

At that moment, James, who wasn’t in costume, reported that some individuals hurled derogatory remarks about sexual orientation (homophobic) and body weight (fatphobic) while attempting to bully him in the parking lot. They found amusement in their actions as they speeded up their vehicle, heading straight for him.

He stated, “It wasn’t just about the harsh words they were hurling at me. It was more about the alarming act of them attempting to hit me with their vehicle, which I found completely unacceptable in any context.

As I approached within 10 meters, they swiftly pressed hard on the gas pedal, almost touching me, but only barely managing to avoid a collision.

I shared that a group of individuals trailed behind me, unleashing a series of harsh words, which I found quite painful. Eventually, I sought safety within the confines of a supermarket.

Previously, James acknowledged that he had been subjected to bullying for a significant portion of his lifetime. However, he confessed that this ordeal was particularly distressing.

‘I’ve been bullied most of my life and I know how to deal with it,’ he said.

NSW Police confirmed to The Daily Telegraph they are investigating the incident.

Based on a previous Instagram Story posted by Carla, it’s indicated that the men stood outside the shop for approximately 15 minutes, reportedly trying to bully or harass her more.

Today, I found myself in a harrowing situation. Two individuals in an SUV seemed intent on causing harm as they deliberately swerved towards me not once, but twice while I was out for a walk. Remarkably, they managed to miss me by just a mere 30 centimeters each time.

Benjamin asserted that at first, the men declared they hadn’t noticed him, but subsequently started making derogatory comments about his sexual orientation and weight, and proceeded to chase him through the parking lot with laughter.

‘They called me ‘f**got’, ‘fat c*nt’ and much more,’ he bravely wrote.

The media figure mentioned that the men stood outside the grocery store for roughly fifteen minutes following his request for shelter.

He made it clear that he would uncover your identity and make you face the consequences of the pain you’ve caused, he asserted. When I discover who you are, I will bring you to light.

Benjamin disclosed that he had spotted the identical vehicle “numerous times” around his neighborhood. He further stated, “Bring it if you got it!” or simply, “I’m ready when you are.

Benjamin openly confided that while he was physically fine, the incident had deeply affected him emotionally, considering his existing mental health struggles.

In the course of my personal mental health journey, I find myself often pondering deeply about society and the individuals within it. [He] expressed this thought.

Supporters have been voicing their encouragement on social platforms, and a lot of them are urging officials to look into the occurrence.

The recent news is a development that transpired several months following the online celebrity’s harsh critique of Jetstar, which occurred when their flight to Sydney got cancelled.

Ben shared a series of pictures on his Instagram Stories, taken at Brisbane Airport while he was growing restless, accompanied by some critical comments about the budget airline.

I appreciate Jetstar Australia for canceling my flight just 10 minutes before it was set to board, causing me to wait a total of three hours for the next available flight,” he explained.

Tonight, I have a performance in Sydney that I won’t be able to make on time due to which I might miss out on earnings. It’s fantastic, and I appreciate your understanding!

Later, Ben made it clear to the airline that if the issue wasn’t promptly resolved, he might turn into a persistent complainer, similar to someone often called a Karen.

He went on to say, “I’ve spent the past two hours sitting here, waiting, and if this flight gets cancelled, I’ll record a video and may turn into an upset passenger from Bankstown, potentially losing my cool.” Additionally, he mentioned that cancelled flights would also mean financial loss for him.

Later, it was disclosed that Ben had managed to get on a flight after a delay of five hours, and he expressed dissatisfaction with the way the staff handled the situation regarding his issue or responded to his queries.

Five hours later, I find myself aboard a Jetstar Australia plane, and the staff’s behavior is less than cordial. It’s disheartening, considering I’ve always had a positive experience with your airline in the past. I can’t help but feel disappointed that this encounter has left such an unpleasant impression.

‘Watch out, I’m making the BIGGEST complaint in the history of your existence.

In my professional opinion, encountering unprofessional behavior such as the one where my inquiries were met with dismissive remarks like, “We all just want to go home,” is simply unacceptable. Instead of a casual term like “babe,” a more respectful form of address would be appreciated. I firmly believe that maintaining a polite and courteous demeanor, especially in the workplace, should always be a priority.

Yesterday, a Jetstar flight between Brisbane and Sydney had to be cancelled because one of their planes required a necessary replacement part.

I’d like to express my sincere apologies for any trouble this situation may have caused you. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience, as we put in every effort to resolve the issue swiftly so that you could continue your journey smoothly.

‘Safety is always our number one priority.’

In 2021, Carla from Bankstown gained widespread recognition through her humorous video series in which she portrayed a straightforward assistant to the former NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian.

In July, a well-known drag queen shared a humorous TikTok video, disclosing that she’d landed a fresh job within the administration of the current New South Wales Premier, Chris Minns.

The playful video captures Carla handling duties from her desk at Minns’ office, casually chatting with a friend over the phone and expressing her boredom, saying, ‘today is incredibly dull’.

Later on, she finds herself taken aback when Minns, aged 43, moves towards her workstation and queries, “Is something going on? Is anyone answering the phones?

In a playful manner, Carla replied, “Dan Andrews phoned and claimed he’s hotter than me, but I firmly declined his offer, saying no way.
