Taylor Sheridan is coming to CBS.
Taylor Sheridan has become a major force in television thanks to the success of Yellowstone at Paramount. He’s created a growing collection of popular shows, including 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Special Ops: Lioness, and the upcoming Landman. After acting in series like Sons of Anarchy, Sheridan transitioned to writing and producing, building a $500 million production company that has earned him Academy Award nominations and numerous other accolades.
A special event called The Run for a Million will air on CBS on August 22nd. The competition is based on The Last Cowboy, a reality show that’s been running for six seasons on CMT. It features sixteen riders competing in reining – a challenging equestrian skill where they guide horses through complex patterns of circles, spins and stops – for the top prize.
The competition features a talented lineup including Jason Vanlandingham, Andrea Fappani, Kole Price, Casey Deary, Cade McCutcheon, Gina Schumacher, Dany Tremblay, Gabriel Borges, Francesco Martinotti, Ben Beckett, Trevor Dare, Alessandro Frassa, Arno Honstetter, Mirko Miidi, Martin Muehlstaetter, and Fernando Salgado.
