CBB Stars’ Secret Sober Struggles REVEALED! You Won’t Believe It!

On the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother on Monday night, Patsy Palmer quickly developed a connection with Jack P Shepherd. This was because they both chose to abstain from alcoholic beverages during the event.

Stepping into the residence, I was greeted by the charming presence of Chris Hughes, a previous Love Island participant, who inquired if I’d be inclined towards a glass of champagne.

Jack replied: ‘Do they have water or orange juice or a coke or something? Fab.’

Upon arriving just now, Patsy felt a sense of relief when she noticed another person abstaining from alcohol. Turning to her co-star in the soap opera, she said, “I requested a non-alcoholic version of champagne and I thought I’d be the only one doing so.

In a well-known mansion, the 52-year-old actress stepped in as the fifth guest to arrive. As she entered, Chris started serving drinks for the other celebrities. The bottles were clearly marked as either containing alcohol or not.

When asked if she enjoyed an alcoholic beverage, singer Jojo Siwa, who is 21 years old, responded “Yes, but without alcohol.” Later on, Patsy requested a glass of water instead.

TV show host Trisha Goddard, 67, seemed to add: ‘We’re having non-alcoholic champagne.’

A short while later, the Olympic gold medalist Daley Thompson, aged 66, kindly turned down Chris’s invitation for a beverage and instead opted for some juice.

Reality TV star Ella Rae Wise, aged 24, seized the opportunity to share a drink with RuPaul’s Drag Race UK champion Danny Beard, 32, who expressed interest in having a beverage but it remained unclear if they opted for an alcoholic option.

In the closing moments of the first episode, fellow competitors Chesney Hawkes, Donna Preston, Angellica Bell, Mickey Rourke, and Michael Fabricant were seen engaging in conversation, each holding a flute.

Prior to entering the CBB residence, Patsy confided that she had resumed drinking alcohol following a period of over twenty years without it.

In 2004, Julie Merkell, famously known for her role on EastEnders and aged 52, decided to give up alcohol, following a wild party-loving image she had during the ’90s.

As I eagerly await Patsy’s grand entrance into the ITV show house on Monday night, I must confess – yes, I indulge in a glass of wine from time to time. But let me assure you, it’s always in moderation!

When inquired about her drinking habits, Patsy responded: “I no longer drink regularly, but from time to time I may enjoy a glass of wine with my meals. I’ve given up any strict rules now.

For several years, I’ve adhered to specific plans that I consider excellent, but I’m not advocating for others to do the same. Each person’s journey is unique, and I’ve discovered my path by forging my own way through life. It’s essential to embrace individuality and personal growth.

The objective should be to provide each person with the freedom to shape their own life journey. Whether they choose to stay on this path or forge a new one based on their desires, this autonomy is key.

Patsy mentioned, “I know some individuals who would never touch another drop of alcohol, and I thought I might fall into that category due to advice given in certain programs. However, I wasn’t much of a heavy drinker to begin with.

At just 21 years old, Patsy quickly rose to fame while working as a market trader, character Bianca Jackson. She not only shared screen romance with Ricky Butcher but also won over the hearts of the public.

In my personal journey, I found myself slipping into a high-spirited social life that often led me to overindulge in alcohol, cocaine, and ecstasy – behaviors that, off the camera, started to take a toll on my wellbeing.

Previously, the television personality openly acknowledged experimenting with alcohol when they were eight years old, using solvents at age 11, and inhaling cocaine as young as thirteen.

Upon joining the EastEnders cast, Patsy resided in an apartment within the East End, where she lived with her grown-up son Charley, who is currently 33 years old, as a single mother.

In 2012, she shared with The Mirror that frequently, she would spend entire nights partying and then show up at work the following day. When possible, she would catch naps between sets, but she isn’t sure how she managed to keep going.

At that point, my feelings were beyond control, and it wasn’t until I paused that I truly recognized their chaos. Reflecting on my past, I believe I was a different individual altogether.

Earlier, this media figure shared that their household is free of alcohol, and they adhere to a 12-step program derived from Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.

Patsy asked, “Consider if your substance use is preventing you from becoming the best version of yourself that you desire.

If the response is affirmative, then it’s high time to put a stop to it. Richard and I had no desire for such an existence in our lives.

‘I didn’t want to be falling out of clubs. I wanted a settled home life and now I have.’

Meanwhile, it’s possible that Jack spends time at The Rovers Return when portraying David Platt on Coronation Street. However, according to The Sun, he’s shared photos suggesting he enjoys a more luxurious way of life in the past.

In 2018, he shared photos of himself enjoying champagne aboard a boat trip, and then opening another bottle upon his arrival at the riverbank.

Additionally, he posted photos showing him enjoying expensive Cristal champagne worth £250 with his fellow actor, Colson Smith. Sharp-eyed spectators noticed empty champagne bottles piled up near the windows in the backdrop of the images.

Last year, as Jojo’s 21st birthday approached, she disclosed that she doesn’t consume alcohol and adjusted her party arrangements accordingly.

I prefer to participate in all activities except those involving alcohol and bars. Typically, a 21st birthday celebration includes heavy drinking, so I choose to avoid such traditions.

For myself, I don’t take pleasure in consuming alcohol; in fact, I abstain from it completely. Interestingly, despite my past misdeeds, I have never indulged in drinking.

Previously, I’ve had experiences sipping alcohol in various countries where it is lawful. I’m candid about this fact. Additionally, I’ve enjoyed a drink or two within the familiarity of my own home, sharing the moment with my loved ones.

‘I’ve tried it, hated it. So for my 21st birthday we’re going to do everything but alcohol.’

During an interview for The Telegraph’s “Day in the Life” series in January, Daley expressed his past struggles with carbonated beverages, stating, “I don’t need another energy drink.” He further explained that he prefers a lifestyle where he is content and slightly heavier rather than adhering to a strict diet.

The British athlete, being completely sober, shared with the media outlet that at 8:30 PM, he was re-watching the event’s start for the third time, merely to demonstrate his lack of excitement or interest.

‘I don’t drink alcohol, do drugs or smoke. I’m really boring, but I will live forever.’
