Catherine O’Hara, a beloved comedic actress known for her roles in popular shows like “Schitt’s Creek” and films like “Home Alone,” has passed away at the age of 71.
A representative from CAA confirmed that O’Hara passed away at her Los Angeles home following a short illness.
No other details were available.
O’Hara was a huge figure in comedy for more than four decades.
Catherine O’Hara first became well-known on the TV show “SCTV,” where she won an Emmy for writing. Since then, she’s been in many films and television programs, notably including “Beetlejuice.”
