As a movie buff, it really strikes me how some old Westerns still hold up today. It’s a genre that’s largely been forgotten with everyone focused on superheroes and big action flicks, but the ones that are truly great? They’re perfect! And thankfully, whether it’s a classic from the ’60s or something more recent, these films are absolute gems you shouldn’t miss. It’s incredibly rewarding to be a fan of a good gunslinger story when so many others have moved on.

Beyond scary stories and action-packed shows, romance is another K-drama genre that’s become hugely popular. And like many other types of shows, Netflix has been leading the way with some of the best Korean romance dramas available. From well-loved series like Crash Landing on You to newer hits such as When Life Gives You Tangerines, Netflix offers a diverse selection of romantic K-dramas, so there’s something for every viewer.

The roster of that decade sits unlike any other in anime history because each character’s strength felt like it meant something specific, tied to a specific philosophy or wound. The strength of 1980s anime heroes was a direct manifestation of loss, and of what each character paid for their powers.

I was really excited to see Fox in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie! He ended up being a big help to Mario and Peach as they looked for Rosalina, even giving them a ride to Bowser’s planet. Honestly, he had way more screen time than I anticipated, especially considering how late they revealed he’d be in the film. And the best part? The scene after the credits showed him going back to his own universe, with all his friends! It was a great nod to his original games.

Almost two decades after The Devil Wears Prada became a huge hit, a new film revisits the competitive world of fashion journalism, but with a focus on how the industry has changed. The original stars – Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt – are back, and the story expands on what fans loved while also showing how media and influence have evolved since 2006.

Nintendo recently announced another major game coming this year: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Secrets of the Zonai. Set for release in October 2026, this new Zelda title promises a rich story, stunning artwork, and a completely original narrative, making it a highly anticipated game for fans.

As a huge anime fan, I can tell you there’s just not a lot of battle shonen that reach the level of One Piece. But believe it or not, a few anime did manage to stand alongside it, even with shorter runs! What really sets these shows apart is that they aren’t just great at the action stuff – they also shine in everything else One Piece does so well, like incredible adventures and amazing fantasy worlds.

Netflix has greenlit a new series called Minimum Wage, and it’s scheduled to premiere later this year. The original cast – including Aidan Micho, Grace Reiter, Hyde Healy, Julia Decesare, Luke Burke, Ryan Micho, and Tommy Armstrong – will all return. The series comes from American High, founded by Jeremy Garelick, who is known for films like The Break-Up, The Wedding Ringer, and Murder Mystery 2. Garelick and Will Phelps are showrunners, writers, and executive producers, alongside Axelle Azoulay.

I truly believe that after Kingpin, Bullseye, played by Wilson Bethel, is the most dangerous enemy Daredevil has ever faced. That’s why I was so thrilled Marvel brought him into the show, first in season one and then making him a key part of season two – even though he wasn’t originally planned to be there! He just adds so much to the story; he’s a remarkably skilled and completely unpredictable killer, and Daredevil needs an opponent like that.

The project started with a creative challenge: Leclerc asked Chivas Regal’s Master Blender, Sandy Hyslop, to develop a completely unique whisky. Their collaboration and experimentation led to the final result – a blend of 16 whiskies, all aged at least 16 years. The blend is particularly defined by the rich flavor from whiskies matured in sherry casks, especially those from Longmorn. Leclerc wasn’t just a figurehead; he actively participated by traveling to Scotland, exploring various flavor combinations, and ultimately guiding the whisky’s development.
