The story kicks off with Wally West, who you might remember as The Flash. But now, things are different – he’s all grown up, married to the amazing reporter Linda Park, and they have kids! It’s a fun struggle watching him juggle being a super-fast hero with being a dad. He’s pretty good at it, honestly, but he definitely has a habit of rushing into things without thinking, which sometimes leads to comical problems – like having to use his super speed to quickly defrost a forgotten TV dinner. It’s a relatable kind of superhero life, you know?

Nathan Fillion is currently enjoying a lot of success. He starred as the Green Lantern in James Gunn’s hit movie Superman (released in 2025) and will reprise the role in Man of Tomorrow in 2027. This year, he’ll also appear as Guy Gardner in the HBO series Lanterns. Plus, Fillion recently shared exciting news: his beloved sci-fi show Firefly is returning as an animated series.

His new album, titled The Boys of Dungeon Lane, will feature songs inspired by his childhood memories of growing up in Liverpool – before he became famous with a band called the Beatles. It seems those early days shaped a lot of his music.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix plans to release City Hunter 2 worldwide next year. This sequel follows the successful live-action City Hunter movie, which was based on the popular manga. The first film was a hit on Netflix in 2024, immediately reaching the #1 spot on the Global Top 10 list for non-English movies and appearing in the Top 10 in 32 countries, including Japan, France, and South Korea.

Director Meredith Alloway immediately establishes the film’s bold tone in the opening five minutes. We meet Apple (Lili Reinhart, perfectly cast), sitting in her car in the Texas heat before work. A man in a nearby truck is openly masturbating and making eye contact with her. Without hesitation, Apple throws her hot latte – from her Stanley Cup – through his window, then confidently walks into the mall, heading towards a store like Dillard’s and ultimately, to Free Eden.

So far, the Avengers movies have mainly centered around the original six members – Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. Hawkeye was the only one who didn’t appear in the 2018 film, Infinity War. Although Infinity War and Endgame introduced many new heroes and broadened the definition of who could be called an Avenger, the original six remained at the heart of those stories.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone both appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man films, with Garfield as Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Stone as Gwen Stacy. Garfield later returned to the role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home, while Stone’s character, Gwen Stacy, died at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Okay, so after finishing up Born Again Season 2, we’re getting a special, The Punisher: One Last Kill. Look, I’m thrilled to see Frank Castle get one more outing before Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits, but that title… it really highlights a core issue with the character that the showrunners still haven’t managed to fix. It feels like we’re stuck in a cycle, and it’s a little frustrating.

While the characters and storylines in Digimon change with each new series, the core idea of raising and battling monsters always stays the same, and we can expect many more Digimon shows in the future. However, there are also other anime out there that are just as good, or even better, at this concept. If you’re a Digimon fan – or even if you’ve been disappointed with recent seasons – these shows are definitely worth checking out.

The latest trailer for the show not only shows the return of the cast of Stranger Things and teases some new creatures, but also introduces a new character named Nikki. With a mohawk and a workshop full of self-made weapons, Nikki might be the key to helping the kids battle the upcoming threat.
