With the live-action version of Lilo & Stitch becoming one of Disney’s biggest hits, fans are eager to see what remakes are coming next. Disney is already working on live-action versions of Moana and Hercules, along with a Lilo & Stitch 2 sequel. While the future of these remakes isn’t completely clear, the success of Lilo & Stitch proves that this beloved animated film—which never originally got a follow-up—deserves a new, live-action adaptation.

As a thriller fan, I’ve been consistently blown away by the shows Netflix delivers, and this one is no exception. Think about Mike Flanagan’s The Haunting of Hill House and that heartbreaking reveal of the Bent-Neck Lady – seriously gut-wrenching! Or how You completely flipped the script, starting as a sweet romance and turning into a terrifying tale of a killer. And then there’s His & Hers, which threw me for a loop with a final reveal of the culprit that I never saw coming. This new series follows that same tradition of huge twists and turns, making it absolutely perfect for a weekend binge.

New data from FlixPatrol shows that The Gray House is currently the fifth most-watched show on Prime Video in the US. It’s behind Cross Season 2, Young Sherlock, and 56 Days, but it’s actually more popular than Fallout Season 2, which was a top hit for most of February.

Michael Showalter directs the new movie Verity, which follows recent adaptations of Colleen Hoover’s books, including It Ends With Us (2024) and Regretting You (2025). Coming later in 2024 after the release of Reminders of Him, the film stars Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett.

A recent reveal in ComicBook highlights the close collaboration between the show’s production team and the original creator, Eiichiro Oda, while also showcasing their willingness to make changes for the TV adaptation. By introducing a popular character earlier than in the original story, the second season of One Piece is demonstrating that it won’t be a strict, scene-for-scene retelling.
