Production on the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds finished just before Christmas in 2025. But then, this morning, Isaiah officially announced it with a cool trailer – It’s Been Awful is a full studio album coming out in less than a month! It’s his first since The House Is Burning back in 2021, and the press release says it’s going to be a really raw and honest return. It’s dropping everywhere on May 1st – I’m already hyped!

Okay, so I was reading an interview with Eric Kripke, the guy behind The Boys, and he explained Ashley Barrett’s whole mind-reading/head-face thing. Apparently, it’s not just a random power-up; it’s actually tied to all the stress she’s been under at Vought. Her hair started falling out because of it, and then Compound V just… twisted that stress into this face growing on the back of her head. Kripke says it’s like her conscience, or an angel on her shoulder, constantly influencing her.

Often, the experience of watching a long-running anime is more meaningful than the story’s ending. When a series goes on for many seasons, the finale can feel sad rather than exciting—like saying goodbye to something you love. The truly great anime, both new and classic, take viewers on incredible journeys that they often wish would never end.

A false report about Michael J. Fox’s death spread after CNN accidentally played a video tribute to him, causing widespread concern and sadness. Thankfully, the actor quickly reassured fans that he is still alive and well.

I’m hearing some exciting news! Kevin Bacon is reportedly going to be the star of a new Hulu series called Southern Bastards. It’s based on the popular graphic novel by Jason Aaron and Jason LaTour, and I’m already intrigued. It sounds like a really interesting project, and with Bacon leading the charge, I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye on this one.
