While promoting his short film, Money Talks (which he co-wrote, starred in, and produced), David Mazouz discussed the finale of Gotham, titled “The Beginning.” He explained that although he provided the voice for the older Bruce Wayne in the episode, a CGI version of his face was used on a stunt performer wearing the Batman suit. He then shared his thoughts on how the series concluded.

The show’s clever and self-deprecating humor has really given it a unique personality, which is a major reason why people love it. The recent announcement of a new cast member continues a beloved tradition, and the arrival of a particularly powerful character from the Invincible comic series promises to get fans incredibly hyped for season 4, coming later this year.

Primitive War 2 takes the series to a new level, delving further into the Vietnam War and mixing it with the threat of prehistoric creatures. As a movie buff and gamer, I always appreciate a good soundtrack! The Oscars actually have two music awards: one for Best Original Song, and another for Best Original Score. The song award showed up a few years after the very first Oscars – back in 1934, to be exact. The first song to ever win was “The Continental” – it was a huge dance number from that classic Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movie, The Gay Divorcee. It really set the bar high!

The incredibly popular Pokémon franchise, which has been around for years, will first appear at Universal Studios Japan. After that, Universal plans to bring special Pokémon experiences to its theme parks around the world.

This summer, look out for “Masters of the Universe,” a new movie from director Travis Knight and Amazon MGM Studios. The film, based on the popular franchise, features Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-At-Arms, and Jared Leto as Skeletor, among others.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, comedy legend and SNL alum Kurt Russell shared a funny story about attending Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding. He explained how a simple assumption he made about the reception led to an awkward moment. Russell recounted that as Steve Martin, his fellow Only Murders in the Building costar, was leaving, he insisted Russell couldn’t leave until he’d had a piece of cake.

Netflix isn’t sticking to just one kind of movie this year. While action movies like Extraction with Chris Hemsworth have been big successes, they’re also releasing romantic comedies, crime thrillers, survival stories, and a new take on a beloved book series. We’ll see familiar faces like Sally Field, find out what happens with a famous on-screen couple, and watch Millie Bobby Brown try out a role that isn’t about fighting monsters. As a dedicated Netflix fan, I’m excited to see these new films and will be ranking them based on how well they’ll keep me entertained at home instead of going to the cinema.

Despite good reviews from critics, the historical drama The Winter King didn’t find a large audience when it streamed on MGM+. The show is based on Bernard Cornwell’s The Warlord Chronicles trilogy and offers a fresh take on the Arthurian legends, focusing on Arthur (played by Iain de Caestecker) as he’s forced into exile during a Saxon invasion.

When the Oscar nominations for the 2026 TV season were revealed, I was surprised to see that the movie Wicked: For Good wasn’t mentioned at all. Even though it didn’t get as good of a reception as the first film, I still expected it to be in the running for awards.
