Olivia Vinall, known for her role in Apple Tree Yard, plays Detective Sergeant Mattie Stone in the series. She stars alongside Julie Graham (This City Is Ours), Sarah Woodward, and Siobhan Redmond, who play her three aunts.

The new series, Douglas Is Cancelled, is a fast-paced comedy-drama starring Hugh Bonneville as Douglas Bellowes, a well-known news anchor. The story begins when he’s publicly accused of telling a sexist joke at a wedding, sparking a social media backlash.
The movie was directed by Oliver Parker and written by Hamish McColl, who also wrote the Paddington films. It’s based on the original television series Dad’s Army, created by Jimmy Perry and David Croft.
