Torchlight: Infinite’s global event, TorchCon Seoul to reveal 2026 roadmap, Developer Q&A, and more this month

TorchCon is a worldwide event where the creators of Torchlight: Infinite share what’s happening behind the scenes and their plans for the future. It’s similar to ComicCon, but for Torchlight fans! At the event, they discuss major updates and the upcoming seasons for 2025, and also reveal what they’re working on for 2026. Torchlight: Infinite launched worldwide in May 2023.

The game could have been even more detailed. Warhorse co-founder and executive producer Martin Klima told PC Gamer they considered a system where Henry’s weight changed based on how much he ate, impacting what clothes and armor he could wear. Ultimately, they decided to remove this feature.

After ten months, the reception to Monster Hunter Wilds is quite different than at launch. It currently has a ‘Mixed’ rating on Steam, and has often been rated ‘Mostly Negative’ due to ongoing and worsening performance problems. Sales dropped sharply by July, and when it was revealed that the game went from 10 million launch sales to under 500,000 in just three months, Capcom’s stock price fell as a result.

Clash Royale’s Hero Update Is Driving Players Away

The Clash Royale community is very upset about the latest update. If you’ve been on the game’s subreddit or social media, you’ve probably seen a lot of complaints. The main issue is with how Hero slots have been changed. Supercell is allowing two Hero slots in ranked matches, but only one in other popular game modes like Classic and Grand Challenges, which players find frustrating and inconsistent.
