Riot Games has announced Warwick as the next champion to receive a visual and gameplay overhaul, known as a 2XKO. They unveiled the updated champion with a new cinematic set to the song “Ties That Bind” performed by Courtney LaPlante of the band Spiritbox.
Following qualifying rounds in the spring and summer, the competition is now set to determine a new champion. The final match will be held at the Beijing National Stadium, famous for hosting the 2008 Olympic Games. This puts the event on par with League of Legends, as both showcase their most important competitions in large-scale stadium venues.
Level Infinite and TiMi Studios will host the event, which will bring together 16 teams in the Philippines. It’s scheduled for November 2025, and specific dates will be revealed soon.
