Castle V Castle is a wacky yet stylish turn-based castle battler funded by Outersloth, launching later this year

Story Highlights

  • Castle V Castle is a turn-based castle battler featuring wacky yet stylish visuals, and is inspired by Castle Wars and Wordle.
  • At the end of each run, you earn XP and unlock rewards such as new modes, reward cards, and more.
  • You can test your skills in the daily challenges mode and aim to build a Wordle-style winning streak.

As an enthusiastic gaming fan, I’m thrilled to share that Future Friends Games has unveiled its upcoming strategic 1v1 castle battler game titled “Castle V Castle.” This exciting new title is planned for release on both mobile and PC platforms later in the year.

The game in question is being produced by an independent studio named nopopo, spearheaded by Folmer Kelly, who is recognized for developing Devolver Tumble Time. This studio receives support from Casey Yano, a developer of Slay the Spire, through Outersloth – an indie game fund set up by the creators of Among Us.

Get ready to demolish your opponent’s castles brick by brick

The game titled “Castle V Castle” is a relaxed, single-player, turn-based battle for castles that draws inspiration from the classic browser games like “Castle Wars” and “Wordle”. In this game, your goal is to construct your castle, reaching a height of 25 meters, while simultaneously dismantling your opponent’s castle bit by bit in an engaging, magic-infused one-on-one duel.

Introducing my latest creation: Castle V Castle – a one-on-one strategic castle-building game where you construct your fortress and demolish your adversary piece by piece! Try it out now with the demo available!!

I find the gameplay quite intriguing, and I’m currently giving it a go with the trial version. In this game, you can play different cards, but before doing so, you must invest resources to either fortify your own castle or demolish a level of your opponent’s. The prize cards appear enjoyable.

Furthermore, you’ll gain XP points and unlock extras such as new game modes, reward cards, and more at the end of each session. What excites me is the daily challenge mode where you can showcase your abilities in a randomly generated fight. I aim to establish a Wordle-like winning streak in this particular mode.

Castle V, the upcoming game, will be available on smartphones and computers towards the end of this year. If you’re eager to give it a test run, head over to Steam to play the demo version. Keep an eye out here for further news regarding this exciting game!
