Cassie has revealed she is expecting her third child with husband Alex Fine. 

38-year-old artist shared the exciting news via a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday, displaying her growing belly alongside her kids, Frankie (4) and Sunny (2), in a series of photos.

Alongside the adorable shot, she shared a pregnancy emoji, blue heart and wrote: ‘#3’. 

In August 2019, Alex and Cassie got married in a small ceremony, and just two months later, they had their first child, little girl Frankie. Their second daughter, Sunny, joined the family in March 2021.

Three months ago, Cassie announced her happy news, following the significant part she played in the collapse of her ex-boyfriend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ reputation. This was after she alleged that he had subjected her to repeated physical violence and sexual assault in a shocking $30 million lawsuit.

54-year-old rapper Diddy (formerly Combs), is presently incarcerated due to accusations of sex trafficking and racketeering, which were brought against him after his September 16th arrest. At this point in time, he is expected to stay in prison until his May 2025 trial takes place.

R&B singer Cassie had been in a long-term on-off relationship with Combs for 11 years.

The lawsuit she filed outlined in depth the accusations that he had supposedly drugged her, threatened her, and coerced her into having sexual encounters with multiple male escorts during their relationship, all under his watchful eye.

Combs settled the case just one day later.

Back in March, a startling video surfaced, revealing an incident from 2016 where Combs reportedly physically assaulted Cassie at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

A person, clad just in a towel, is spotted pursuing another individual along the hallway. This person then catches up to the other, grabs them by the back of their head, and forcefully pushes them to the floor.

Cassie spoke about the chilling video in a message that said: ‘I appreciate all the love and support from family, friends, acquaintances, and even those I haven’t met yet. The overwhelming love has given my younger self a sense of peace and security now, but this is just the start.’

Dealing with Domestic Violence was a struggle for me. It transformed me into someone I hadn’t expected to be. However, through persistence and effort, I have improved significantly, though I continue to heal from my past experiences.

When Combs was arrested, a source near Cassie stated that it wasn’t something she found joyful or celebratory.

As a dedicated follower, I can tell you that I’m finding comfort in the fact that the situation has intensified, yet it’s not a moment for me to rejoice. This is what an informed source shared with DailyMail.com.

She feels disappointed that, back in the 90s, others who claimed to be victims were not heard, as it might have saved her from experiencing whatever happened.

Cassie needs some time off to concentrate on her well-being as the specifics of the case are causing distress, the source explained.

She was additionally reported to feel offended by the baby oil jokes and internet humor that emerged following the assertion made by Federal agents who seized approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant from Combs’ residences in Miami and Los Angeles. These items were allegedly used in his ‘Freak Offs.’ events.

In November, Combs’ legal team argued that the security footage showing Combs assaulting Cassie might have been manipulated or edited.

The federal prosecutors presented the video as proof that Combs appeared to be involved in human trafficking of Ventura, and also warned that he might endanger other women if granted bail.

However, the lawyers for the record executive countered, asserting that the prosecution presented a manipulated video and fabricated the storyline being presented in court, according to ABC News.

The defense argued that the video didn’t depict a ‘wild bash’, often associated with Combs’ alleged sex parties, but rather a household argument where the rapper rushed down the corridor to retrieve his phone and clothes.

Combs’ legal team contends that additional video evidence from the incident conflicts with the prosecution’s claims and they plan to present a forensic video expert at his bail hearing today.

In the midst of the controversy, there have been whispers that Cassie secretly has been focusing on restarting her musical journey, which had been halted by Combs for over two decades.

She’s focusing on making a return to the music scene, having recently registered a new song and considering releasing some previously unheard songs from her collection.

According to an exclusive source, it’s being suggested that Cassie might return to the music scene since Diddy is currently in prison and some of his former associates in high positions are stepping down. This information was shared with DailyMail.com in October.

Initially, she never thought her career would come to a halt as severely as it did upon releasing her debut album. However, she currently holds numerous unpublished songs that she hopes to share once the circumstances and market conditions align favorably.

They added: ‘Her collaborators have been informed of this, so the royalty splits have been agreed.’

The disclosure follows Cassie (original name Cassie Ventura) making changes to the song “Into It” in May of this year, an original recording she first submitted to Universal Music way back in 2010.
