Cass Wood Welcomes First Child: The Bachelor Star Gives Birth and Reveals Adorable Name
Cass Wood has given birth to her first child, a baby boy, with husband Tyson Davis.
The Bachelor star, 30, announced the arrival of her newborn on Thursday evening via social media.
Cass posted a collection of images on Instagram for her 137,000 followers, detailing her stay at the hospital and capturing moments where she tenderly held the adorable newborn.
In a heartfelt disclosure, I shared the delightful name of my little one and opened up about the unexpected turn of events, as I found myself necessitating an emergency cesarean section.
‘On December 2nd, 12:45am, Theodore (Teddy/Theo) James Davis entered the world! That’s what she wrote in her post.’
Initially, the scene was tranquil and delightful, watching Australian Idol in the delivery room. However, after 30 laborious hours, an unexpected emergency C-section became necessary. Yet, despite the twist of events, our baby was delivered safely into the most capable hands with an exceptional medical team!

I’m incredibly thankful and enveloped in a huge bubble of affection for our small family. I’m also deeply appreciative of my wonderful, supportive spouse, who I suspect may be experiencing a bit of stress as well.
This version maintains the original sentiment while using more natural and easy-to-understand language.
Cass went on to thank her doctor and doula: ‘Forever grateful for keeping Bub and I safe’.
In August, the woman who appeared on Nick Cummins’ season of The Bachelor in 2018 revealed that she was pregnant.
‘Delightful Surprise! Baby Davis on the Horizon…’, she labeled a charming collection of pictures, captured with Tyson, at sunset on the beach.
2018 was the year I soared into stardom, gracing the screen as a contestant on Honey Badger’s season of The Bachelor. The following year, I couldn’t resist another shot at love’s elusive dance, appearing again on Reality TV – this time on Bachelor in Paradise in 2019.
In September 2023, she tied the knot with her long-term partner, the rugby player Tyson, at a breathtakingly beautiful semi-local wedding in Gerringong.
Cass and Tyson had a brief romance in 2017, but they parted ways just prior to Cass’s appearance on Bachelor in Paradise.
While on the show, she fell for ex-Bachelor Richie Strahan, but their romance was short-lived.

Cass and Tyson reconnected in 2019 after she returned from filming in Fiji.
Previously, she openly shared that she had never felt happier than when Tyson returned to her life.
2019 saw her pen on Instagram that Bachelor in Paradise felt somewhat reminiscent of Deja Vu for her, yet the depth of feelings and resulting pain in both instances were equally profound.
I’m overjoyed because this man reappeared in my life at just the right moment. To clarify, we first crossed paths in 2017, and I am now delighted to admit that I have never been as happy as I am now.
