Carrie Bickmore’s rumoured lover Tommy Little falls ill and requires an IV drip after running for her charity event in South Africa – as video footage of him vomiting on a tree emerges

He put in a great deal of effort to run in the Big Five marathon in South Africa this past weekend, with the aim of fundraising for Carrie Bickmore’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer charity, which there are rumors he supports.

And while Tommy Little finished the long-distance foot race, it came at a price.

The radio funnyman revealed he busted a calf muscle and ‘spewed’ post the 42.195km run.

Tommy was filmed throwing up on a tree after the gruelling course.

He shared on Instagram that he’ll provide improved content once his cramps subside, but he also wanted to assure everyone keeping up with him that they successfully completed the Big 5 Marathon!

In the end, I placed 22nd despite tearing a calf muscle during the competition and having to receive fluids intravenously due to excessive vomiting afterwards.

Tommy mentioned that it was the donations intended for Carrie’s charity, which had been his motivation to continue, even when he felt like giving up at the 3km mark.

He expressed gratitude, acknowledging the combination of humility and brilliance in the experience. Without your generous contributions, he admitted he might have quit just 3 kilometers into it. He thanked everyone and conveyed his love. After a restful sleep, he promised to post more tomorrow with a heart emoticon.

Carrie and Tommy were accompanied by a group of famous individuals during the marathon, which included Sam Wood, Olivia Molly Rogers, Merrick Watts, Ned Brockman, Ellidy Pullin, Laura Enever, and Trent Cotchin.

As I prepared for the upcoming occasion, a tearful moment fell upon me upon reading a poignant missive penned by a courageous mother bravely fighting brain cancer.

On Saturday, the seasoned host, aged 44, posted a video on social media, visibly moved while reading a heartrending letter that she’d been sent.

Greetings from a devoted admirer! I trust this message reaches you in good health. I’m none other than Courtney, a fan who’s battled bravely with brain cancer for the past nine years since turning 34.

Previously, I worked as a dedicated nurse, an occupation I cherished deeply. However, my current role has unexpectedly shifted, placing me in the position of a patient. Upon waking up in the hospital, I received the devastating news about my diagnosis, and was informed that my remaining life span is estimated to be one to two years.

Initially, when the doctors shared their diagnosis, I found myself chuckling and asserting my disagreement, informing them I intended to depart. Now, my son has turned five. Throughout this journey, it never crossed my mind that I would meet an untimely end.

‘This diagnosis has changed me for the better… I see more beauty in the world now.’

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I wholeheartedly believe that we should all keep lending our support to charities, just as I’ve been inspired by Carrie to help those like Courtney. It’s crucial that we continue to make a difference in the lives of others whenever we can.

Carrie expressed, “It was incredibly sad yet immensely inspiring, a further proof of our purpose. I’ll have you by my side at every step, Courtney.

If it’s possible for you, I kindly ask for your donation, no matter how small. The way to do so is provided in my profile. Remember, your contribution truly matters and can make a difference.

Last month, Carrie shared with Confidential that encountering the large African mammals would certainly prompt her to run quickly.

‘She mentioned that last year the race began late due to a wandering lion. She also shared that she chose not to learn more details about it as she fears such knowledge might deter her from participating.’

I plan to head there without looking, and open my eyes only when I reach the starting line, then let’s see where things lead.

Carrie set up her charity after her late husband, Greg Lange, lost his battle with brain cancer.

In her 2015 Gold Logie acceptance speech, she declared that she intended to carry on Greg’s charitable work.

In 2005, when Carrie was only 25 years old, she and Greg got married, despite his terminal illness. They later had a son named Oliver.
