Carrie Bickmore’s fans shocked over her ageless beauty as they compare her to Barbie’s mum: ‘The old you get, the hotter you are’
As a dedicated follower of Carrie Bickmore, I must say, she never fails to leave me stunned with her ageless beauty. It’s not every day you come across someone who could easily be mistaken for Barbie’s mother, let alone look at least half her age!
Admirers of Carrie Bickmore were taken aback when the popular radio host displayed her timeless grace on Thursday, prompting numerous comments that she might well pass as Barbie’s mom.
As I happily shared on Instagram, here’s a snap of me lounging elegantly atop a sturdy stone column. (Age and name are not essential for the paraphrase.)
With a smile playing on her lips while gazing upwards, Carrie radiated beauty in a vibrant, eye-catching hot pink evening dress.
The stylish, sleeveless gown designed by Effie Kats showcased Carrie’s slender figure and her well-sculpted, sun-kissed arms.
Carrie paired a breathtaking gown with silver high-heels and eye-catching silver earrings, allowing her golden hair to fall gracefully across her shoulder area.
Appearing at least twice as young as her actual age, Carrie opted for a stylish makeup style featuring a fully concealed base of foundation, accentuated by bronze eyeshadow and a neutral-toned lipstick.
A different image, captured during the unveiling of Effie Kat’s spring collection in Melbourne, showcased Carrie smiling brightly while accentuating a generous neckline on her dress.
In a simple and natural manner, the phrase could be rephrased as: ‘This picture is pink during the day and at night too,’ she wrote in the caption, and fans couldn’t help but praise her timeless charm.
“Beautiful during the day, breathtaking at night,” was one admirer’s remark, while another enthusiastically added, “You just keep getting more attractive as you grow older.
A spectator commented that when they showed their child a picture, the five-year-old speculated that Carrie could possibly be the mother of the famous fashion doll Barbie, who was portrayed by Margot Robbie in the hit movie.
‘My son asked if you were Barbie’s mum,’ they wrote.
‘I said “how old do you think Barbie’s mum is… I don’t even know why I asked… his response “way younger than you, ummm 68” ( I’m 43).’
They persisted with expressing: ‘Initially, I felt joyful for you, but then became saddened and deeply sorrowful. Why do I seek approval from someone as young as five years old?’
It was proposed that if Hollywood were to remake the popular 1980s movie Pretty in Pink, starring Molly Ringwald, Andie (Carrie) would undoubtedly be the top choice for the lead role.
‘Need a remake of Pretty in Pink. You’ll be the [star emoji].
Additionally, the compliments didn’t end, as the comment section was filled with terms like “beauty”, “charming”, and “exceptionally attractive.
Carrie recently gave an insight into how she maintains her enviable youthful looks.
Contrary to what some might assume, I don’t splurge on high-end facial creams and moisturizers to the tune of hundreds of dollars. In reality, my skincare routine is quite budget-friendly.
Carrie often relies on the affordable La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ Balm Cream, priced around $21, for her facial rejuvenation needs.
This balm offers multi-purpose, intensive hydration for delicate skin of all ages, including infants, children, and adults. It’s a luxurious formula designed to repair and moisturize extremely dry skin, boasting a nutrient-rich texture.
It is said to be perfect for extreme dryness, dry patches, rough areas and post-procedure skin.
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but mimic Carrie’s recent actions online. She meticulously captured and posted a snap of her trusted tube of budget-friendly facial cream, carefully sliced open to ensure every last drop was squeezed out.
In the caption for her post, Carrie wrote, “When I slice open the tube to get every last bit,” followed by a laughing emoji, conveying the same idea in simpler terms.
She added that after searching high and low for the perfect face cream, this ‘normal priced’ one had been a ‘game changer’.
Carrie said, “I’ve tried nearly all high-end face creams available, but none of them have made a difference.
‘This normal priced baby has been a game changer.’
A 100ml tube of the cream, which is available at the likes of Chemist Warehouse, will set you back around $35 while the smaller 40ml tube costs around $21.
