As someone who has been a dedicated follower of Australian radio for years, I must say that the 2024 ACRA Awards was nothing short of a spectacle! The glitz, the glamour, and the healthy dose of friendly competition made it an event to remember.

On Saturday evening, Carrie Bickmore caught everyone’s attention by showing off her slender legs in a brief, black gown at the Australian Commercial Radio & Audio Awards.

43-year-old Radio Star stunned in a mini black dress and vibrant red lips, yet chose to bypass the red carpet entirely in an unexpected decision.

Instead, she showcased her stylish appearance for the grandest night of radio on Instagram, posting an alluring photo for her fans to see.

In the center of her hotel room, grinning broadly, Carrie proudly displayed her physique while wearing a snug, strapless Effie Kats gown.

Carrie gathered her long, golden hair and allowed it to cascade over her shoulders while applying a vibrant red lipstick that mirrored the lollipop she was holding.

She adorned herself with modest gold earrings and a solitary gold bracelet on her arm, accompanying the photo with the caption: “A queen on a throne. Radio awards 2024!

It was a big night for Australian radio in Sydney on Saturday as the 2024 ACRA Awards got underway.

In an unexpected turn of events, Jonesy and Amanda ended up winning the prestigious award for the top on-air team.

There was a lot of discussion surrounding the competition between Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson from KIIS compared to Lauren Phillips and Jason Hawkins, both nominated for Best On-Air Team.

Lauren and Jase have lately relocated to Nova following their position being taken over due to the Kyle and Jackie O Show’s growth in the Melbourne market.

However, Amanda Keller and Brendan Jones from WSFM emerged victorious, triumphing over both competing teams to claim the prestigious prize.

Kyle and Jackie still won big on the night, taking home Best Networked Show for Hour of Power.

Instead, the radio superstars did not attend, as representatives from their popular morning show received the award for them.
