Carrie Anne Fleming dead at 51: Supernatural star passes away as cause of death is revealed

Carrie Anne Fleming, best known for her role on the fantasy drama Supernatural, has died at 51.

Jim Beaver, who starred with her on Supernatural, confirmed to Variety on Sunday that she passed away due to complications from breast cancer.

The actress passed away on February 26 in Sidney, British Columbia in her native Canada. 

She is survived by her daughter Madalyn Rose. 

A memorial service is set to be announced at a later date. 

Fleming played Karen Singer on Supernatural, the wife of Bobby Singer, who was a close friend and helper to Sam and Dean Winchester.

She’s also well-known for her appearances in shows and films like iZombie, Smallville, Good Luck Chuck, The L Word, Married Life, and Supergirl.

Elliot Fleming was born on August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia. He went to high school at Mount Douglas Senior Secondary in Victoria, British Columbia, and also trained in drama at both the Kaleidoscope Theatre and the Kidco Theatre Dance Company.
