Caroline Goodall Introduces A Fascinating Mythos In Storm Rider: Legend of Hammerhead Clip

If you’re a fantasy or sci-fi fan looking for something fresh and exciting, Storm Rider: The Legend of Hammerhead delivers. This independent film, now with Blue Harbor Entertainment, launches you into the Hydroverse – a post-apocalyptic underwater world built on centuries of fascinating myths and legends.

A new clip from ScreenRant reveals a scene from the upcoming movie, where The Baroness (Caroline Goodall, known from The Princess Diaries) shares some of the world’s complex backstory with the hero, Neb (Marco Ilsø, who starred in Vikings). The story takes place in a world where people, known as Islanders, had their civilization broken apart by a massive flood 300 years ago. Now, the city of Argos – a safe haven reachable only by a dangerous method called Storm Riding – offers a chance for a better future. The film also features Billy Barratt, James Cosmo, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, and Goran Bogdan.

Domagoj Mazuran, Zoran Lisinac (who also wrote the script), and actor Neb Chupin, the team behind Storm Rider, recently told ScreenRant about their vision for the film and highlighted the work of everyone involved in making it.

As kids, we were always drawn to epic movies – stories with huge scope, immersive worlds, and universes that felt incredibly vast. These kinds of tales were usually found in comic books or made by big studios with lots of money. However, we decided to try something different.

We decided to create our film independently to show ourselves and other filmmakers that you don’t need a major studio to realize a big, ambitious vision. With smart planning, creativity, hard work, and the right team, it’s possible to create a large-scale, cinematic experience even with limited resources – it just takes passion, belief in each other, and a lot of dedication.

AI was starting to get a lot of attention in the film industry around the time we finished our movie. Although many people now talk about AI in filmmaking, our project was completed entirely without it – not one frame used AI technology.
