Caroline Flack’s Best Friend Lou Teasdale Receives Heartwrenching Portrait for Valentine’s Day
Caroline Flack’s best friend Lou Teasdale was gifted a heartwrenching portrait of the late presenter for Valentine’s Day.
The celebrity hairdresser, 41, took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday night to reveal the emotional present her boyfriend Andy Carroll got for her.
In a touching Valentine’s gesture, the footballer bought her a print of her late friend Caroline, which was created by acclaimed artists The Connor Brothers.
The painting showcases half of Caroline’s face against a crimson backdrop, along with her deeply touching statement: “Even in a world where you have the freedom to become anything, choose kindness.
You can rephrase the sentence as follows: The Yield Gallery offers the signed print for sale at a price of £1,250, and Lou felt astonished when Andy decided to buy it for her.
In my own words, I’d say: “I wanted to express a big thank you to my beloved Valentine. ❤️

After Caroline paid a visit to The Connor Brothers’ studio for a commissioned portrait photoshoot, the artwork was produced subsequently, marking her final photography session.
Approximately two years ago, Caroline Flack visited our studio for a portrait photography session, which she had commissioned.
‘She was a joy to work with, and her playful personality and appetite for life were infectious.
At the moment, we had no inkling that this particular photo session would turn out to be Caroline’s final one.
Even though our encounter with Caroline was brief, she made a lasting impact on us through her kindness and humor. Hearing about her sudden passing was incredibly sad for us.
Following her tragic passing, I, as a devoted admirer, eagerly joined forces with The Connor Brothers in auctioning off the poignant portrait that she had inspired. Proceeds from this sale were directed towards CALM and CHOOSE LOVE – charities that Caroline herself championed, with a noble purpose to aid in suicide prevention and promote love-based initiatives worldwide.
Incorporated into the artwork was Caroline’s message, ‘Be Kind’, that gained widespread popularity following her passing.
On February 15, 2020, the host of Love Island was tragically discovered deceased at her residence in North East London. Her passing was later determined to be a suicide during an inquest held in August 2020.

In my role as a lifestyle advisor, I was caring for Caroline when, upon stepping out to grab some essentials, I returned to find that she had tragically taken her own life shortly after my departure from our shared space.
When Lou could not regain access to Caroline’s home, she called her father Ian, who found her.
A month ago, Lou posted something deeply sad concerning suicide, stating that she had done all she could to aid Caroline during her battles with mental health issues.
Following the establishment of an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Instagram, a supporter messaged her saying, “Even if someone is determined to take their own life, no intervention can prevent it. Remember, you’ve done your part.” [sic]
Considering her personal journey, Lou stated, “Over the last decade, suicide has left a significant impact on my life, much like it does for numerous others. When it’s not us directly struggling, it’s often someone in our immediate circle.
‘I am currently working with an amazing charity Body and Soul.
After witnessing multiple instances of close friends attempting suicide without receiving necessary professional help from our National Health Service (NHS) or private healthcare, and realizing their tragic outcomes, I came to understand that the services provided by both sectors, as well as mental health hotlines that raise millions annually, are largely ineffective when it comes to aiding those who are suicidal.
Body and Soul provides a unique, six-month support program designed for individuals who have contemplated suicide. Remarkably, this program claims a perfect success record, with no repeat attempts reported by participants who completed the ‘You Are Not Alone’ course.

They additionally provide complimentary online workshops for individuals similar to myself, who are untrained yet providing support to someone navigating this challenging situation. I often express that suicide can be a contagion.
The tragic act of one suicide can lead to a ripple effect of distress among those affected, potentially increasing the likelihood of additional suicides unless appropriate support is provided.
Among all the various projects I’ve explored, none have made as significant an impression as the one that demonstrates tangible real-world effects through their actions.
If you find yourself needing assistance at the moment, don’t hesitate to reach out to them. Alternatively, consider following them and contributing financially if your circumstances allow.
Alongside her social media post, Lou and her partner Andy also contributed £1,000 to the charity’s You Are Not Alone initiative.
After confiding in Katie Hind from the Daily Mail about the distress she experiences due to her estrangement from Caroline’s mom, Christine, Lou subsequently published a post.
Last month, I learned from The Mail that I am a key figure in an upcoming Disney+ documentary centered on Caroline. This documentary promises to delve meticulously into the final 24 hours of her life and potentially shed light on the reasons behind her passing, as well as examine whether there were opportunities to save her.
One question that Christine is eagerly trying to find answers for is: Why did Lou and their mutual friend Mollie Grosberg choose to leave Caroline alone in her apartment on the day she tragically ended her life, given that Caroline had previously attempted suicide just the day prior (as the Love Island star was involved).

Ever since the release of the documentary, a close confidant of Lou’s has shared with The Mail that it’s heart-wrenching for Lou that Christine appears to be accusing them following Caroline’s passing.
For a long time, they were with Caroline, and during this extended period, they repeatedly encouraged her to seek medical attention at the hospital, but she refused. This is what they reported.
They chose to stay with her at her apartment to check on her well-being, however, their visit could not last forever, so they eventually left.
It’s unfortunate that they are now being accused by Caroline’s mom. Once, Christine had a strong bond with Lou, but that connection seems to be lost now.
Caroline’s passing has deeply affected her friends and significantly altered their lives. Some believe it is best for her memory to be respected in tranquility.
However, this documentary may revisit old issues, potentially implying fault in specific areas unintentionally.
Since the passing of her cherished friend in February 2020, Lou has been gradually reconstructing her life. More recently, she has entered a new relationship with footballer Andy.
Andy and his TV personality wife Billi Mucklow, aged 36, officially announced their divorce in September following a private separation that took place earlier in the year. They had been a couple for eleven years.
Later, he openly announced his new relationship with Lou at a Halloween gathering, and it’s reported that Billi learned about this just before the news became public knowledge.
