Carol Vorderman commands attention in glitzy mirrored gown as she arrives on the red carpet ahead of hosting the 2024 Pride of Britain Awards

This year, seeing Carol Vorderman dazzle on the red carpet was a true highlight – she’s always been a beacon of style and grace in our industry.

At the 2024 Pride of Britain Awards, held at The Grosvenor House Hotel on a Monday evening, Carol Vorderman captivated everyone’s attention as she made her entrance.

In a stunning silver, form-fitting dress, the 63-year-old presenter showcased her remarkable figure on the red carpet, accentuating every curve beautifully.

The long-sleeve garment, decorated with numerous mirror shards and detailed sequins, added an additional dash of shine.

This time around, Carol adorned her outfit with a pair of shiny silver stilettos and an assortment of chunky rings for the upcoming event she’ll be co-hosting.

She arranged her hair into bouncy curls and adorned herself with a full complement of glamorous cosmetics, including shimmering eye shadow.

At this year’s 25th Pride of Britain Awards, Ashley Banjo will team up with Carol yet again, serving as her co-host.

Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks will be hosting the red carpet, while GK Barry will create online content from her personal bar during the event.

Since 1999, this ceremony has been held to recognize the exceptional accomplishments of individuals from various backgrounds throughout the United Kingdom, who have been nominated by the general public.

Once a selection has been made from among the numerous submissions, the winners are determined by the Pride of Britain’s judging committee.

Before the ceremony commenced, The King and Prime Minister Keir Starmer paid tribute to the unrecognized heroes of our nation.

The King referred to them as the “cream of the crop,” whereas Sir Keir stated, “They exemplify all that is magnificent about Great Britain.” (This version aims to maintain the original meaning and tone but uses more contemporary and conversational language.)

In a letter, King Charles addressed Molly Leonard, the recipient of The King’s Trust Young Achiever award. As Molly’s grandmother listened, she couldn’t help but tear up with joy when reading his heartfelt message to her granddaughter.

Beyond just complimenting Molly, he also expressed: “As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Pride of Britain Awards, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all this year’s winners. Each one of you embodies the finest aspects of our community.

The Prime Minister told the winners: ‘Britain is proud of you’.

For over two decades, the Pride of Britain accolades have honored individuals representing the best aspects of British culture. Regardless of their backgrounds, these exceptional people share a common trait – they are all heroes.

‘They might not resemble the typical caped crusaders we often imagine, blending in with everyone else instead. However, what sets them apart is truly remarkable. They exhibit courage, perseverance, kindness, understanding, and an extraordinary spirit.’

These entities possess an ability to stir emotions within us, inspiring optimism and pride. They serve as proof that despite adversity, humans have the capacity for remarkable accomplishments.
