Carla From Bankstown Survives Homophobic Attack in Terrifying Incident

Benjamin James, more commonly recognized as Carla from Bankstown, has revealed a chilling story about an incident that left him feeling very uneasy.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself sharing an unusual encounter on my Instagram Stories yesterday. Leaving my local market, I had the harrowing experience of being almost hit by not one, but two individuals driving an SUV – twice!

On a soft pink backdrop, a cherished drag queen and mental health advocate penned a chilling message: ‘Today, I was the target of two aggressive men in an SUV. They nearly hit me twice while I was walking, coming within mere inches as they swerved their vehicle and just barely missed me by approximately 30 centimeters.’

Benjamin asserted that at first, the men declared they hadn’t noticed her, but later started making derogatory comments about her sexual orientation and body weight, and continued to chase her through the parking lot while giggling.

‘They called me ‘f**got’, ‘fat c*nt’ and much more,’ he bravely wrote.

The media figure mentioned that the men stood outside the supermarket for approximately 15 minutes following his request for shelter indoors.

He firmly stated, “Take note, I will uncover your identity and make amends for the pain you’ve caused.” Or simply, “I won’t let this go unaddressed. Once I discover your identity, I’ll reveal it to all.

Benjamin mentioned that he had spotted the same vehicle on numerous occasions around his neighborhood. He went on to say, “Bring it on.

Although Benjamin reassured fans that he was fine physically, he confessed that the incident had deeply affected him emotionally, considering his existing mental health struggles.

In the course of my personal mental health journey, it causes me to ponder deeply about our society and its individuals in particular. [He] expressed this in writing.

Supporters have been expressing their sympathies on social platforms, urging officials to look into the occurrence following this unfortunate event.

The news emerges following several months since the influential figure on social media publicly criticized Jetstar, due to the cancellation of his flight to Sydney.

Ben shared a collection of pictures on his Instagram Stories, which depicted him growing restless while waiting at Brisbane Airport. He also included some critical comments about the budget airline.

I appreciate Jetstar Australia for canceling my flight just ten minutes prior to boarding, which made me wait a total of three hours for the next one,” he said instead.

I have a performance tonight in Sydney which I will be running late to, and if I miss it, I’ll lose money. It’s fantastic! Thank you for that!

In this version, I have replaced “gig” with “performance,” and used “running late” instead of “will be late for.” Additionally, I changed the phrase “lose money for” to “if I miss it, I’ll lose money,” to make it clearer that missing the performance would result in losing money. The exclamation “It’s amazing!” has been replaced with “It’s fantastic!”, which is a more polite and formal way of expressing enthusiasm. Finally, the sentence ends with “Thank you for that!” instead of just “Thank you,” to show greater appreciation for whatever it was that was given or provided.

Later, Ben threatened the airline that he might escalate the issue by behaving like an assertive woman (often humorously stereotyped) if they didn’t promptly fix the problem.

He went on to say, “For the past two hours, I’ve been patiently waiting, but if this flight gets cancelled, I might record a video and turn into a rather upset individual from Bankstown. In other words, I might just lose my cool.” Additionally, he mentioned, “This would also mean financial losses due to these cancelled flights.

Later on, it became clear that Ben had managed to get on a flight five hours after the initial event, and he expressed dissatisfaction with how the staff responded to the situation, as well as their attitude towards addressing his issues and inquiries.

Five hours later, I’m on my way home by plane, and the crew at Jetstar Australia seems unfriendly! It’s disappointing that this is your behavior after all these years without a problem. I can’t help but wonder why such a change now?

‘Watch out, I’m making the BIGGEST complaint in the history of your existence.

Additionally, the rudeness of your team when I inquired about the situation was unacceptable, with them responding dismissively, “We all just want to leave, sweetheart.” Please refrain from using endearments like that. I am not your ‘sweetheart,’ moreover, the behavior was extremely impolite.

Yesterday, I found myself in a heart-pounding situation as my much-anticipated journey from Brisbane to Sydney got axed! It turns out it was all because our beloved Jetstar birdie needed a vital missing piece – a spare part.

We’re truly sorry for any trouble this situation may have caused you. We appreciate your understanding and patience while we tirelessly worked to resolve issues and ensure a swift resolution for everyone.”

“Sorry for the hassle, thank you for being patient while we did our best to fix things quickly for everyone.

‘Safety is always our number one priority.’

In 2021, Carla from Bankstown gained widespread recognition through her humorous videos depicting herself as a straight-talking assistant to the former NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian.

In July, the well-known drag queen shared a funny video on TikTok, announcing that she had secured a fresh job opportunity with the present New South Wales Premier, Chris Minns.

The playful video captures Carla handling her work duties at Minns’ office. She’s seen engaging in a private conversation with a friend over the phone, casually remarking, “It’s really dull here today.

Later on, she finds herself taken aback when Minns, aged 43, moves towards her workstation and inquires, “What’s the situation here? Is anyone receiving calls but not answering?

In a playful manner, Carla replied, “Dan Andrews called to say he’s hotter than you, but I firmly declined, emphatically saying ‘no, not a chance.’
