The catalyst? A discerning fanbase noticed that Cardi B, aged 32, had removed pictures featuring Diggs, 31, from her Instagram gallery. Their relationship, which ignited like a firework during the NBA Playoffs in May, was officially set ablaze on social media in June.

In the midst of her divorce proceedings with Offset, Cardi B has ignited a new romantic spark with NFL player Stefon Diggs. On Monday at the NBA Playoffs, they made their relationship public by sitting together courtside.

Representatives for Cardi B and Diggs did not immediately respond to The Times on Tuesday.

In June, Cardi B openly displayed her relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver, posting extremely private photos from a passionate boating excursion that have since been deleted from her Instagram album. Cardi B labeled this series of photos as “Chapter 5,” hinting at the beginning of a new chapter in her life, which can no longer be seen on her profile.

Initiated dating speculations began in February when TMZ shared footage of Cardi B and Diggs exiting a Miami hotel over Valentine’s Day weekend. In April, they were once more seen enjoying themselves at a nightclub in Manhattan. Pictures of the rapper dancing on the athlete’s lap surfaced online, earning approval from Offset, Cardi B’s estranged husband who is also a member of Migos.

In 2024, it’s said that Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset. Ever since, their relationship has been less than amicable, with frequent disagreements between them, despite sharing three young kids. They’ve been known to exchange heated exchanges on social media platforms.

Although there are no pictures of Diggs on Cardi B’s Instagram at the moment, it’s important to mention that they still keep each other as followers on the platform. Conversely, Cardi B and Offset no longer reciprocally follow one another on Instagram.

It became apparent that there might be changes in Cardi B’s love life when she attended Paris Fashion Week without Diggs. At the Schiaparelli showcase held at Petit Palais, she donned a snug, striking gown with an extravagant neckline and fringe. A real crow sat on the hand of the “W.A.P.” performer, hinting at themes from her upcoming album.

Cardi B announced in late June that her eagerly awaited second album, titled “Am I the Drama?”, will be released on September 19 – seven years after her first album, “Invasion of Privacy”. She shared a sneak peek of the dramatic album cover on her social media, which shows her wearing an abstract red jumpsuit and fishnet stockings, holding one heel while a dark bird perches on her shoe and others fly around her.

Prior to the announcement, Cardi B pondered in a teaser about “seven years of love, living, and loss,” and switching tranquility for turmoil.

In the video, a person from The Bronx expresses that power isn’t handed over; it must be seized. He adds, ‘I’ve let go of my old self, no longer shedding tears. I’m not returning; I’ve moved past that point.’
