Cardi B says she fears her ‘life in danger’ due to harassment just days after giving birth to fourth child

Cardi B has stated she’s reached her breaking point after enduring over a year of ongoing harassment.

The Grammy-winning singer, age 33, says the harassment she’s experiencing got worse after her soon-to-be ex-husband, Offset, briefly posted – and then removed – a comment about their newborn son, calling him ‘My kid lol.’ The post referenced her relationship with the baby’s father, Stefon Diggs.

People thought the 33-year-old father of six might be talking about a law in Georgia. This law automatically assumes a husband is the father of a child born while he’s married, even if the couple was legally separated when the child was conceived.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, and the 31-year-old NFL player may ask the court to legally determine who the father is through a paternity test, officially settling the matter.

Cardi B, with 286.5 million followers on social media, said on X Spaces that she was feeling increasingly bothered by harassment.

The rapper, Errtime, claims that when he’s privately harassed and doesn’t respond, that’s when the harassment starts happening in public.

I often lie awake at night feeling uneasy, thinking things aren’t right. It’s hard to ignore all the disturbing things you see – the true crime shows, and the constant news on social media about violence against women.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, faced criticism last week for a post he made on Instagram. After sharing shirtless photos, he captioned them ‘Protecting my energy,’ which many people interpreted as him prioritizing himself over his marriage and family, leading to backlash.

Cardi B and her husband, rapper Offset, have three children: a seven-year-old daughter named Kulture, a four-year-old son named Wave, and a fourteen-month-old daughter named Blossom. She filed for divorce in 2024 after being married for six years.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Cardi B and Offset for comment. 

Reality TV star Erica Mena recently announced the birth of her fourth child, a baby boy. According to TMZ, her husband, Stefon, was present for the delivery last week.

Cardi B shared on Instagram that her life feels like it’s made up of many different phases. She recently finished one phase and started another, saying that while beginning again is challenging, it’s been a positive experience.

The rapper known as Outside is nominated for a Grammy Award for best rap performance. The 68th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+ on February 1st.
