Cardi B HARSHLY claps back at ‘dumb’ follower who asked if she was ‘bleaching’ her skin while pregnant

Last week, Cardi B responded to a comment from one of her followers who questioned whether the rapper was changing her skin tone.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to rephrase that in a more conversational tone: “Belcalis Marlenis Cepus, better known as the hitmaker, firmly responded to a fan who suggested an action potentially risky during pregnancy, stating she’d never consider such a dangerous move.”

The singer also told the fan she was ‘dumb’ and thinking with her ‘a**h***.’ 

The 31-year-old Bodak Yellow hitmaker is expecting her third child with estranged husband Offset.

Worldwide, skin brightening or lightening treatments are quite popular. Some individuals opt for these products to alter their skin tone, as reported by MedicalNewsToday.

That is dangerous as ‘there is no safe or reliable way to lighten someone’s skin tone’ with bleach.

On Wednesday, a stir was ignited when a user on social media platform X inquired whether you may have undergone skin-lightening treatment upon seeing a picture of Cardi B displaying her uncovered baby bump.

Her skin did appear lighter, but it was likely due to the camera’s flash. 

The rapper got upset with the accusation, even calling the fan ‘dumb’ as she asked her to stop thinking with her ‘a**h***.’

Cardi said she appeared lighter because the pregnancy has been hard on her as she is now anemic.

‘Bleaching while pregnant [three sad face emojis]? Why must yall be so dumb? Actually NO! I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic, this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale, eyes sunken, veins green ASF, can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy… PLEASE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR A**H***!’ 

Cardi also named the X user. 

A few weeks ago, Cardi B expressed concern that she might have experienced a miscarriage following an unexpected incident.

31-year-old rapper openly shared on social media about a recent health issue that had her deeply concerned about the wellbeing of her unborn child.

‘I had a surprising and unfortunate incident.’

‘I don’t know how something, well, it wasn’t little. It actually hurt.

Although it’s not common, this event grew so massive that I was left utterly immobilized. To put it simply, it was close to causing a significant issue with my child, but fortunately, it didn’t. Yesterday, I was in a great mood and returned home, but I arrived home feeling incredibly intoxicated.

‘Today, I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying. Like, I’m dying.

If I’m not feeling well within the next four hours, I’ll head to the hospital without a second thought. I might be overdramatic to ensure I receive stronger painkillers. Give me morphine, please. I’m not concerned about anything else right now. Oh my goodness.

Cardi only recently announced her pregnancy via a post on social media.

The acclaimed rap artist, recently divorcing from Offset, posted on Instagram: “Every conclusion brings about a fresh start! I’m incredibly thankful for the time we spent together. You’ve given me an abundance of love, vitality, and above all, rejuvenated my strength!”
