Cardi B drops big hint she is no longer dating Stefon Diggs

Cardi B strongly suggested she and Stefon Diggs are no longer together, shortly after his team, the New England Patriots, lost Super Bowl LX.

The rapper, 33, posted about the game on Instagram on Tuesday, but her photos and videos didn’t include Stefon Diggs.

The father of her youngest child is a wide receiver for the New England Patriots and played in his first Super Bowl this past Sunday.

Following the Patriots’ Super Bowl loss to the Seahawks, a lot of people noticed she didn’t comment on the unexpected outcome.

She posted a video of herself dancing at the game, having been one of the celebrity guests who unexpectedly appeared during Bad Bunny’s halftime performance.

She posted pictures of the Airbnb where she stayed during the game, but her boyfriend wasn’t seen in any of them.

She also shared two more photos of herself wearing the off-white, fitted minidress she wore to the game – the same outfit she had on when she performed with Bad Bunny.

As a huge fan, I noticed they seemed really distant at the game, and it immediately set everyone buzzing about a possible breakup. Now, people are really going wild online, saying they’ve even unfollowed each other on social media! It’s all anyone can talk about.

Rather than respond to the rumors, she posted about the atmosphere at the Super Bowl and the halftime performance.

We had so much fun at the game! Afterwards, we continued the excitement back at our Airbnb and did a big photoshoot.

She concluded her caption with three red heart emojis and made no other mention about the game. 

She recently shared an update on social media after appearing somewhat cold when questioned about her boyfriend and their baby.

Before the game started, an ESPN reporter asked the Grammy-winning artist to say something encouraging to Stefon, but the artist didn’t seem very enthusiastic about it.

Cardi smirked, paused, and offered a curt: ‘Good luck.’

Then, she was seen walking off without adding anything further. 

The short conversation quickly sparked rumors online, leading some to believe there might be problems developing privately.

‘Ooooo he in trouble???’ one fan wrote on X. 

‘That gives me they beefing vibes lol,’ another posted. 

‘They definitely beefing with the face expressions and the response,’ a third added.  

Others floated alternative explanations, suggesting the moment may have been misread. 

Some people thought her answer was strange, with one suggesting she might have been intoxicated. Others speculated she was simply annoyed with the reporter or the question, or that she and her partner had been arguing privately.

Cardi B and Diggs had a baby boy in November 2025, but they haven’t shared his name with the public yet.

The Daily Mail has contacted Cardi B’s team for a statement, but they haven’t heard back yet.

Even with all the talk surrounding her, Cardi B was at the game to cheer on Stefon Diggs and the New England Patriots as they played against the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium.

Ultimately, the Seahawks defeated the Patriots 31 – 27. 

Following the game, she was scheduled to throw a private party at a venue she’d rented for about $30,000, and the drinks were expected to cost close to $222,000.

According to a source, she’s largely paying for everything herself because she wants him to feel loved and appreciated. She feels like this might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so she doesn’t want to limit their experience.

Rumors about the couple started circulating early last year, and they officially confirmed their relationship in May when they were seen together at a New York Knicks basketball game.

Engagement speculation had also followed Diggs in the lead-up to Super Bowl week.

At the start of Super Bowl LVI festivities, a reporter asked the 32-year-old wide receiver if he planned to propose to Cardi B with a ring if his team won on Sunday.

Diggs paused for a moment, then chuckled and said, ‘It’s possibly on the list of things to do. But I need to take care of my own priorities first.’
