Only a few days after having her baby, the 33-year-old rapper hired Juliane Corona’s Mommy Me Encapsulation to create a heart-shaped gold pendant from her umbilical cord.

The fashion piece set the rap artist back $1,000, according to the US Sun.

The jeweler posted a video on Instagram showing how the singer’s special piece of jewelry was made.

The video started with a blue umbilical cord being carefully woven onto a heart-shaped wire frame. A jeweler, wearing pink gloves, then shaped the cord into the desired form.

Any remaining parts of the umbilical cord were carefully cut with gold scissors. Then, the ends were gently pressed and flattened to create the final shape.

According to the company’s website, they create keepsakes by preserving a baby’s dried umbilical cord, shaping it into a heart, and coating it with gold chrome.
