Cardi B dealt double blow after Stefon Diggs pictured flirting as ex Offset demands spousal support while divorce war rages on

Cardi B is facing a challenging week as it’s been reported that her latest boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, was spotted flirting with women wearing bikinis, and to add to the drama, her ex-partner Offset has taken an unexpected step in their divorce process, according to DailyMail.com.

In August 2024, the 32-year-old rapper initiated a divorce proceeding from her spouse of almost seven years, citing ‘incurable breakdown of their relationship’ as stated in the legal documents.

According to the report, Cardi B has asked for her marriage to end because there seems to be no hope for reconciliation between them.

Originally, Offset (age 33) submitted his “response and countersuit” to the divorce filing by the famous pop artist Up in February of this year. However, we can disclose that he has recently updated this response with new details.

In the updated filing made on May 23rd, there’s a new demand – he is asking for spousal maintenance from her.

In the court document, it is stated that ‘Offset requests a ruling mandating Cardi B to make periodic payments, often known as alimony or spousal support, to him.’

The exact figure hasn’t been set yet, but it will be decided by the judge during the upcoming months as part of the divorce process.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Cardi B’s attorney for comment. 

The WAP rapper did not previously request spousal support in her divorce filing from August. 

At present, it’s stated that Cardi B has a net worth of approximately $101 million, placing her as the second wealthiest female rapper in history. On the other hand, Offset’s reported net worth stands at around $32 million.

Initially, Offset submitted his answer and counterclaim on February 25th, which he later amended this month. The remaining requests, apart from spousal support, remain unchanged. These include his petition for the court to decide each parent’s child support responsibilities, distribution of their marital assets as well as personal belongings.

He’s also requesting each party be responsible for his or her counsel fees.

Furthermore, he is proposing shared legal guardianship over their three offspring, where Cardi B would serve as the principal caregiver at home, while he would act as an alternate caregiver under an arrangement that prioritizes the well-being and needs of the children.

The pair have a six-year-old named Kulture, a three-year-old called Wave, and an unnamed six-month-old daughter as well.

In Offset’s legal document, he mentioned that the identity of the six-month-old’s biological father (whether it’s him or someone else) will be determined in an upcoming paternity test.

Earlier reports suggested that the rapper was planning to conduct DNA tests for all their children. However, Cardi B has stated that she will never need a DNA test as all her kids closely resemble their father. She further emphasized that the evidence of paternity can be found simply by looking at her children’s faces.

She went on to say, “At six months, I plan to share a photo of my daughter, and you’ll notice the strong resemblance to her father. Her father has never requested a DNA test since he’s confident when it comes to his identity.

In her divorce filing from August 2024, Cardi B acknowledged Offset as the child’s father, stating their third child was due later in the year. Subsequently, she welcomed the baby on September 7th.

Apart from his current family, Offset is also father to three kids from past relationships: Jordan Cephus (son), Kody Cephus (son), and Kalea Marie Cephus (daughter).

In the year 2017, during the month of September, the pair exchanged vows in Atlanta, Georgia – which is where Offset resides at present. Meanwhile, Cardi B continues to dwell in Tenafly, New Jersey, a location they chose for their $5.85 million property boasting nine bedrooms and bathrooms each.

She’s asking the court for a fair division of their shared possessions, along with primary guardianship of their underage kids. She also wants the court to make him pay for child support, but he’s asking the court to decide on child support issues as well.

It’s been reported that their former partners have found new romantic connections. It’s rumored that Offset is currently dating a model from Atlanta named Melanie Jayda, whom he was spotted getting close to in Dubai towards the end of last year.

Recently, the public hasn’t observed the duo together in a while, but it’s also worth noting that their relationship status is unverified. However, Cardi B has frequently been seen with Diggs, who is 31 years old.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, they enjoyed their time together in sunny Florida, where they were spotted enjoying themselves on a yacht. However, a minor incident occurred when the singer almost experienced a wardrobe mishap. Fortunately, her boyfriend quickly intervened, preventing any issues by adjusting her one-piece black swimsuit over her chest.

In late March, the wide receiver for the New England Patriots, who recently secured a three-year contract worth $69 million, found himself surrounded by groups of women wearing bikinis while on a yacht. His rapper partner was in close proximity at the time.

The incident, which was filmed and later spread widely online, has sparked curiosity among fans due to his casual behavior, including relaxing shirtless on a boat while conversing with three ladies who affectionately referred to him as ‘daddy’, after he kept asking, “What’s my name?”.

At the close of the video, I can be spotted with a mystery-filled plastic sack – a secretive item that one of the ladies handed back to me.

Despite Cardi B also enjoying the party onboard, she was left seething.

According to a source, the singer of “I Like It” prefers her partner not to engage in flirtatious behavior with other women. The source also mentioned that she hopes he would avoid being disrespectful or unfaithful to her, as some women tend to make advances towards him.

The source stated, ‘She is quite upset with him.’ They implied that his actions were unacceptable and expressed disappointment that he wasn’t aware of the situation unfolding around him, which they found regrettable.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts on the recent buzz surrounding our star wide receiver, Diggs. On Wednesday, our coach Mike Vrabel spoke up about that viral video of Diggs hanging out with some gorgeous ladies, all while he was missing from team practice. Now, let me clarify, Diggs is still in recovery following his ACL injury. This situation sure does pique my curiosity!

Vrabel claimed that any conversations on the issue would remain in-house.
