Cardi B addresses speculation she was shading Nicki Minaj in new maternity shoot: ‘Leave me the f**k alone’

In an Instagram post, Cardi B, the artist known for Bodak Yellow and famous for an earlier incident where she threw a shoe at the performer of Super Bass, shared beautiful maternity photos. Attentive followers spotted the word ‘pedophile’ spray-painted in the backdrop.
Her supporters believe she deliberately positioned herself in front of that word to cast a shadow on Nicki Minaj’s spouse of five years, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender, as an implied criticism.
In the photo, the singer Cardi B, who is currently pregnant, displayed her baby belly while wearing an old-school Alpinestars jacket from the ’90s paired with just a bra. She was seen sitting casually on a motorcycle in the picture.
She paired the ensemble with long, silver boots and sported large, wavy curls as she embraced her inner motorcycle-loving spirit.

She labeled the pictures, ‘I can’t wait to see my tiny sweetheart soon,’ accompanied by an ultrasound image of her precious baby.
Given their history of public disputes, spectators were quick to speculate on social media platforms whether she was subtly criticizing the Grammy-winning artist with her recent post.
One user penned, ‘Lol wait why there’s Pedophile written on the wall??……is this a nicki shade?’
The person said, ‘I’m curious as to why the word “pedophile” is written there. Couldn’t you have painted over it or was it done deliberately?’
One Instagram user commented, ‘Is this a subtle jab at someone being a pedophile?’ Another found it strange that Cardi posed with graffiti saying “pedophile” during her maternity shoot, expressing their discomfort by saying, ‘It’s just odd to have the term “pedophile” in a maternity photoshoot.’
The artist known as WAP responded to rumors on a previous platform (Twitter) suggesting she was subtly criticizing Nicki Minaj, who is now 41 years old, by denying the allegations and clarifying her intentions.
Initially, we chose an unanticipated street since photographers were constantly following us; it was meant to be my debut photo, but we needed to quickly retouch the images as the photoshoot unexpectedly became public knowledge.
She stated, “I didn’t have a chance to review every detail due to everyone trying to uncover my pregnancy as a surprise…And just to clarify, I’m not using my maternity photos for humor. Is that clear?”
In a follow up tweet she continued to defend her maternity shoot.
She explained that her makeup artist quickly retouched the image as there wasn’t enough time for a full session, and mentioned the date and time without anyone noticing the graffiti in the background. If she wanted to be vindictive, she could have shared numerous memes last week, she noted as an aside.
She advised users to cease propagating the untrue tale, emphasizing: “I’ve been telling you all to leave me alone! If I say I’m not involved, don’t force me to get involved. Unravel yourselves!”
Earlier in August, Cardi B revealed that she is pregnant with her third child, despite being separated from her husband, Offset.
And she recently admitted she suffered a ‘freak accident’ that almost caused her to miscarry, leaving her briefly ‘paralyzed.’
She and the 32-year-old rapper already share daughter Kulture, five, and a son, Wave, two.
