“Car-crash TV” star Kerry Katona insists Katie Price is “the love of my life”

Kerry Katona shared heartfelt praise for her friend Katie Price, calling her “the love of my life.” The two were prominent figures in the celebrity world during the 2000s and have often spoken about their strong and lasting friendship.

Atomic Kitten’s Kerry Katona chatted with Zingo Bingo while reminiscing about past memories, and pulled out a poster from her recent tour with Katie.

She lovingly called Mrs. Price ‘the love of my life,’ referring to her as ‘our Katie.’ She then reminisced about traveling with a close friend, playfully saying she was eager for the trip to be over because of the exhausting travel schedule.

I created this tour to demonstrate the power of positive support. It feels like we live in a world dominated by negativity – from the news to social media – where people often criticize others, particularly those who are succeeding. I wanted to offer something different.

Kerry observed that people tend to dwell on negative experiences. She mentioned that Katie faces a lot of difficulties, but consistently perseveres and moves forward.

She believes women should support and uplift each other instead of tearing each other down. She pointed out that the media often portrays women negatively, and that women are unfairly criticized for their personal lives, particularly regarding relationships and having children with different partners, despite working incredibly hard.

She remembered the tour being intended as a way to playfully poke fun at themselves and honestly own up to their errors. It unexpectedly grew into something much larger, and ultimately strengthened their bond as friends.

Kerry went on to say, “She’s truly the most loyal friend anyone could ask for. No one else understands what it’s like navigating this industry the way we do. Considering where we started and everything we’ve overcome to get to where we are now, it’s incredible.”

Thinking back to the 1990s and early 2000s, there were days when I had around forty paparazzi outside my home every single day. Even now, just remembering it brings tears to my eyes – I can hardly believe I managed to cope with it all.

Years ago, Kerry faced tough media criticism, including reports about a 2008 interview on This Morning where she seemed to have difficulty speaking clearly.

According to The Guardian, the negative response to her disastrous public appearance highlighted the unfair way the media covered her compared to men in similar situations.
