You’ll be able to train and develop your favorite characters, choosing how they improve and unlocking their signature moves. Ultimately, you can build your dream team—the “Golden Eleven”—and experiment with different strategies and formations. The game will also accurately recreate famous moves from the anime and manga, like Tsubasa’s Drive Shot and Hyuga’s Tiger Shot.

Mobile games based on Captain Tsubasa aren’t a recent development. The series has had several successful launches worldwide, including popular titles like Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, Captain Tsubasa: Ace, and Captain Tsubasa RIVALS. It’s also partnered with football games, such as KONAMI’s eFootball, for successful collaborations.

Captain Tsubasa: My Golden XI is currently available for pre-registration only in Japan. You can sign up on the Google Play Store or App Store to get notified when the game officially launches. There’s also a pre-registration event happening now, where you can unlock rewards like special gacha tickets, Victory Balls, and Roberto Notebooks by reaching certain milestones.

The game is currently listed on the Japanese iOS App Store with a potential release date of June 30, 2026, but the developers haven’t confirmed this date, meaning it’s subject to change. Given the game’s popularity internationally, a worldwide release is also anticipated.
