Captain America 4 Concept Art Gives Giancarlo Esposito’s MCU Villain a New Look

Some new Captain America 4 concept art has been unveiled.

I’m so excited for the next Captain America movie! It’s called ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ and is scheduled to come out in February 2025. I’m really happy to see Anthony Mackie back as Sam Wilson, fully embracing the Captain America role. And the casting of Giancarlo Esposito as the villain, Seth Voelker, also known as Sidewinder, is just brilliant – I have a feeling he’s going to be an incredible adversary!

What does Giancarlo Esposito’s MCU Villain look like in the Captain America 4 art?

Marvel artist @blackbearuwandi posted on Instagram a concept sketch showing how Giancarlo Esposito might have appeared in the upcoming *Captain America: Brave New World* movie.

The post described a techwear-inspired reimagining of the Serpent Society for Captain America, calling it “Brave New World.” The creator connected each member to a serpent from a different culture that represents who they are. For Sidewinder, they used the Naga Raksha as inspiration, simplifying the design but keeping some familiar details. They also subtly showed Sidewinder’s invisibility power through his outfit.

Okay, so the new Captain America movie, *Brave New World*, kicks off with Sam Wilson – our Cap – meeting the new President, Thaddeus Ross. Things immediately go sideways, and he gets tangled up in some huge international crisis. Basically, he’s gotta figure out who’s pulling the strings behind a really dangerous global conspiracy before it’s too late and the villain’s plan comes to fruition. It sounds like a pretty intense ride!

The film features a cast including Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Xosha Roquemore as Leila Taylor, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns, and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross/Red Hulk, alongside Mackie and Esposito. Rob Edwards, Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musso, Onah, and Peter Glanz wrote the screenplay, with Kevin Feige and Nate Moore producing. The film earned approximately $415.1 million worldwide but received a mixed reaction from both critics and audiences.

Captain America 4 is currently available to stream on Disney+.
