As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen the evolution of games from 8-bit pixels to lifelike visuals, and let me tell you, Capcom’s move with Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is a breath of fresh air!
After the release of the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster last week, Capcom is curious to hear if gamers are keen on additional “deluxe remaster” games, styled similarly to Dead Rising, being developed.
In the updated edition of the 2006 Xbox 360 game, you’ll find improved character designs and contemporary graphics, all driven by Capcom’s RE Engine. It also comes with auto-save features, refined controls (offering both a modernized setup and an option for classic control), among other enhancements.
The Capcom survey inquires, “Are you interested in experiencing more games like ‘Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster,’ which undergo enhancements such as better gameplay and upgraded visuals (including revamped 3D models) in the future?
The survey additionally inquires about the preference of fans between a complete overhaul (remake) or an enhancement in resolution through a typical remaster. It then presents options such as Dino Crisis, Lost Planet, Devil May Cry, Power Stone, Resident Evil, Onimusha, Darkstalkers, and Okami for consideration, or any other game of your preference.
Are you curious if any sequels of Dead Rising will get a deluxe remaster, a remake, or a fresh start within the series? By completing the survey, you can obtain a free Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster wallpaper for your desktop. Enjoy!
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is out now for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC priced $49.99/£39.99 for the Standard Edition or $59.99/£49.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition with loads of bonus DLC outfits for Frank. The survey, meanwhile, is available to complete until 18th October.
