Can’t Get Enough wraps up the Skyland series beautifully

Reading the works of Kennedy Ryan is akin to encountering an author whose style makes you wonder how you ever appreciated books without them before.

Initially diving into the Grip collection, I’ve since explored numerous other series by the same author, but none have left as lasting an impression as the Skyland. To date, I haven’t encountered a series that manages to be both deeply affecting and emotionally crushing in quite the same way.

Because Kennedy Ryan is known for delivering intense romance alongside unexpected emotional twists, you can expect nothing less from her latest novel, “Can’t Get Enough“. As the concluding installment of the series and centering around Hendrix, I knew this book would be a heart-wrenching journey for me.

To put it simply, I’d like to express gratitude to Forever for providing me with an advance reading copy, which allowed me to read and critique the book early. In reality, this book has been on my mind ever since I completed it, indicating that I will soon have a finished version in my hands.

Can’t Get Enough is a glorious end to the Skyland series

It was only natural that “Can’t Get Enough” began on a somber tone, as the storyline continued with themes similar to those in previous novels. The character, Hendrix, is grappling with her mother’s dementia, which has made her a potential hazard. Initially, Hendrix considers moving in herself, but her aunt steps up, expressing her intention to care for her sister instead.

In the story’s summary, there’s no reference to Hendrix’s mother’s diagnosis, but I wanted to convey it from the outset as a crucial element. Life isn’t easy for Hendrix, and complicating matters further is her potential romantic entanglement with a man who already has someone else. However, the real twist comes when she meets Maverick at a party, where their instant connection becomes apparent. Not only does Mav find Hendrix’s professional endeavors intriguing, but he also empathizes with her struggles.

Initially, it appears that these two characters are destined to be together; however, Kennedy Ryan masterfully crafts a story where they must overcome numerous real-life obstacles before reaching their goal. Hendrix finds herself living with her mother and managing her career at the same time. Simultaneously, Maverick is grappling with his future plans and attempting to win Hendrix’s trust.

Although “Can’t Get Enough” delves deeply into challenging themes, it doesn’t neglect the softer moments. The dance between Hendrix and Maverick is captivatingly sensual, creating an intoxicating atmosphere. These two characters seem like the perfect representation of soulmates. Their intimate connection stands out uniquely, and from the start, everything feels destined for them to be together. However, life doesn’t make it easy for them.

In the movie “Can’t Get Enough,” Hendrix and Maverick face numerous challenges, but they emerge as stronger individuals and more effective partners as a result. What’s heartening is that both of them had robust support networks, with Hendrix being particularly well-supported. It was a delight to see her spending time with Soledad and Yasmen, moments we had all been anticipating eagerly.

Typically, I might find something to comment on, but with “Can’t Get Enough,” there’s nothing to criticize. Kennedy Ryan never fails to impress me and ranks among my all-time favorite romance authors. If you haven’t read this book or the series yet, don’t delay. The “Skyland” series is one that you’ll want to consume eagerly while also taking time to appreciate every detail.

Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan is out now where books are sold.
